Energizer Head Torch

These are genuinely great head torches for their price. These later models seem to be getting loaded with features, so this one has adjustable beam, which is basically holding a button down to change the LED from the spot version to the flood version. A bit of a gimmick perhaps. The light output is great though for what you get. This provides a nice clean light with excellent illumination and a clean throw. I like that the first option is to Red LED, so this ensures if you are working at night it does not ruin your night vision with the White light first. Granted they take AAA batteries rather than being 'rechargeable' but I think this works well. You can always replace the batteries with a fresh set for example. It is a personal preference. They last a good few hours on full power. I actually prefer this one to the 450 Lumen model (Energizer Vision HD Ultra). That one is overly complicated to get full power and when both are on full power I think this 400 Lumen model actually provides better, or even more, light. It is also a whiter light too which I think is preferable. This still uses the excellent battery holder and head strap design. It is good the strap is replaceable too. Recommended!

Excellent for early morning dog walks and a recent camping trip. Battery operated and is still going. High quality fit with comfortable head strap, easy to use with options of bright white light and a red night light. Lightweight and great value for money.

First of all. Amazon has been really great for me this past year. Very reliable throughout the lockdown periods. Thank you 🙏 So... anyway, I needed a torch as I ran over my last handheld. I decided on this as I have things to do under my land rover and the handsfree options were far better. The packaging had some perforations to make opening the pack easy, but somehow fell apart in my hands. See pics.!! Very light and surprisingly comfortable. I use it over my cap. With four different brightness level, I think anyway. The brightness is adjusted by holding down the button and it’s a gradual change from high to the lowest setting. Not in click steps. It makes smooth transition from highest setting (all led’s are active) a focused beam (only middle bulb active) then transitioning to flood lights that are an led on each side of the central bulb. On top of that the “on” button control gives instant access to the most brightest and lowest as well as activating the red light. One other reason i had, when ordering, is the infra red light. Now I know that it isn’t a real night vision but it looked cool to me and it might work well in a darkroom. I’m not to sure on the last one. But red led’s appear like candy to me, and this in real life is very sweet! So that’s why it’s my first picture taken. I scored it little lower because there’s no beam option and doesn’t light up too good in open spaces. You might not startle any animals when hunting but you’re not going to see much either!! 😂😂 plus it’s nothing much other than a couple led’s, a bit gimmicky really. The build quality is great and the price on offer at £13 pounds, was average. If you shop around. If you need it to ride bicycle at night. Then you need both front and rear led. Front to see and rear so you’re visible to others. This head light is okay if you already have flashing rear led on already, On longer term you could do better than this. This is a multi purpose work light and I wouldn’t recommend it for commuting on a bike at night. Although it is a good short term solution. I will be using this a lot so I don’t think the battery life is worth talking about other than that their energizers and I prefer Duracell. Overall it was a damn good purchase on my part. I’m really pleased with and I would definitely recommend it.

Very bright torch, comes with a regular light as well as a red light which was exactly what I was looking for.

This is my 2nd purchase of this head torch (HDD323), though I think this one is an upgrade of my old one. The previous one lasted me quite a few years and I used it frequently, mostly for reading at night and being able to knit in low light. I'm amazed how cheap this is for such a great torch. This one is very bright using the disposable batteries that are included in the pack (3 x AAA). I usually use rechargeable batteries which although are better for the environment & more cost effective, I don't think are as powerful. Love the red light and the way I can alter the white light's beam by holding down one of the buttons. I had a pretty basic Petzel head torch a few years back but I found this Energizer torch far superior. Highly recommend this

Excellent product , very good price!

The first thing that impressed me about this torch was the packaging, oddly enough. Whenever I see a card backing and plastic, bubble-type protuberances, I automatically reach for the scissors to hack away at the package and the elastoplasts to seal up the inevitable cut finger. Here, though, there's a handy, perforated piece at the back that simply tears back, releasing the torch in seconds. No scissors, no blood! The strap and the (included!) batteries were equally easy to eject. The light feels sturdy and well made; the batteries are a doddle to fit (unlike my last one); and the light is bright on pretty much any setting. I particularly like the little flicker it gives when the dimmest or the brightest setting is reached. One word of warning. I tested it first in my kitchen and - OMG - the amount of cobwebs it revealed up on the ceiling was quite terrifying! These had been otherwise invisible in daylight, and also with the kitchen lights on, all of which point downwards. The next day I Hoovered the entire ceiling, standing on a chair, wearing my new head torch. That was a bit of a first. All in all, I good bit of kit.

Bought its ancestor in 2008 which is still going strong. This is much brighter, with more settings. The battery latch is easier to open, yet more secure. The headband is now removable, a plus, and the clips will also mount on webbing on rucksacks or camera bags. Comes with batteries. A good, durable product which 'a policy of continuous improvement' has made even better. It even costs about the same as it did over fifteen years ago! What's not to like? Recommended.

tres bonne lampe, bonne qualité eclaire assez bien

Very bright. Good value for the money. Not as durable as some headlights out there but seems to be brighter than most. Been camping twice and hasn't let me down.

Arrivata prima del previsto ,prezzo discreto, luce fantastica (paragonabile alla luce di un auto, non immaginavo che una lampada frontale potesse avere tutti quei lumen. E' preferibile usare pile al litio per una maggior durata per mantenere la potenza di luce. A 50 mt in piena notte si illumina a giorno. Anche dopo oltre 10 ore di uso intenso la visibilita' con pile scariche e' superiore alla visibilità di creata da altre lampade frontali con pile nuove. 315 lumen ci sono tutti
