Gorgeous rose scented candle, only needs to burn for a short while as the scent is strong but not in an over powering way. Definitely good value for money as it doesn't need to burn for hours. Will definitely buy this brand again. There are cheaper candles but they're not good value for money.

A gorgeous smell of roses from this candle. Long lasting, and even better when it's on offer.

Although initially there is a brief sense of the smell from some of those cloying rose perfumes, that soon passes to leave you with the scent you get from sniffing a real, fragrant rose, possibly close to ‘Peace’, at least that’s in my garden for direct comparison purposes and it was realistic. It burns really well and scents the room nicely, a good choice in my bedroom, although equally good elsewhere. Yankee Candles provide good value in their mid market position, with attractive lidded jars and pleasant fragrances, although I would urge doing some in-store sniffing before purchase where possible to check the smell is to your taste. Fresh cut roses smells of real roses once it settles down and is a fairly safe bet if you cannot smell beforehand. For best burning experience, keep the wick trimmed to no more than 3mm and use a candle snuffed to extinguish as that helps prevent the wax going everywhere. This is an attractively scented candle, sized for bath tub corners and secret Santa/stockings as well as the bedroom, lounge or possibly dinner table. The lid helps keep the dust off between burnings although this one smells so nice it is unlikely to get a chance to accumulate dust in this house.

Well presented in the jar. Definitely rose scented. Soft fragrance which lasted long after extinguishing the flame. Not overpowering as some can be. Gave as a gift but would like one myself for my living area.

The fragrance of the fresh cut roses is a new favorite of mine. I have a Victorian rose garden themed living room and these candles are a perfect addition for ambiance. Fragrance is the perfect added element to complete a room and this candle fulfills the air with that needed sent that completes the room.

Wir leben nun seit gut vier Monaten in unserem Eigenheim und noch immer gibt es viel zu tun. Das Wohnzimmer ist nun soweit fertig, dass ich ENDLICH ans Dekorieren denken kann. Ich mag den Gedanken, dass wenn es abend wird, Kerzen die Zimmer erhellen und alles in eine gemütliche Atmosphäre tauchen. Bis jetzt hatte ich immer überall Teelichter hingestellt, meist auch die Sparpacks, denn ich sah es nicht ein, so viel Geld für eine Kerze auszugeben. Auch wenn sie versprachen, sehr lange zu brennen. Folge daraus ist natürlich, dass nach drei Stunden die Flamme erloschen ist. Nun habe ich von vielen Ecken im Netz die Yankee-Candle gesehen und die vielen Lobeshymnen gelesen und fragte mich die ganze Zeit: Warum steht jeder auf diese Kerzen? Lag es an der Duftauswahl? Oder doch die Brenndauer? Die Optik vielleicht? Hmm, ich wusste es nicht. Durch Zufall und einem Tipp fand ich bei Amazon eine Yankee-Candle im Angebot (9€ statt 25€) und ich wollte es unbedingt mal ausprobieren. Zack, bestellt und am nächsten Tag war sie auch schon da. Ich habe mir die Sorte Fresh-Cut-Rose zugelegt und war vom Duft her schon begeistert. Sie riecht wirklich wie ein Meer aus Rosen, selbst verschlossen und unangezündet. Faszinierend 👍! Auch das gesamte Design des Glases sprach mich an und sie fand ihren Platz auf dem Wohnzimmertisch. Sie verspricht eine Brenndauer von 65-90 Stunden. Hoch gepokert, wie ich finde, denn das ist ja wirklich schon eine lange Zeit. Wir haben sie nun schon einige Abende brennen lassen und ich sehe keine wirkliche Verringerung des Wachses. Und das begeistert mich schon sehr stark. Andere Kerzen sind ja nach vier bis fünf Stunden dahin, und diese sieht noch aus wie neu! Mittlerweile habe ich sie mindestes 3x nachbestellt, alleine weil meine Mutti auch ein kompletter Kerzennarr ist und auch so eine haben wollte, zum anderen fungiert sie nun als Geburtstagsgeschenk für meine Schwester und meine Tante.

i was so exited for the candle to arrive but when it did the jar was broken and cracked all around, so the only way i have left is to smash all the remaining glass of to then use it as a free-standing candle instead. and just hope that it turns out okay. But i am very disappointed to say the least!
