I needed, or let's admit 'wanted' a small table for me and my partner to enjoy meals at. Our living room is not very big at all and we needed something that wouldn't take up too much space. This table fits perfectly. It's quaint and compact, with the chairs tucked in, it looks really nice and tidy. It's still large enough for both of us to enjoy a meal at, with a candle and a vase of flowers in the centre, for when we want to be romantic. The table is nice and sturdy, as are the chairs too. It does feel nice and durable. It's definitely easy to clean and it always has a gorgeous shiny, bright white surface. The size altogether, including the chairs being tucked in, is roughly 74cm tall, 87cm long and 45cm deep. The table top is around 72cm x 52cm x 1.5cm. Below the table top, is a rack type shelf, which is one of the 'flaws' with this table, or a flaw for me anyway. This is roughly 40cm long. I personally would rather have a solid shelf than something with gaps this large in, as it's hard to decide what you can use it for other than paper type items. (I wanted a plant there!) I ended up putting two silver placemats on it, so it's one full panel, which actually works quite well. The chairs are 74cm tall, the seat is 45cm tall and the seat area is 34cm round and 1.5cm deep. These aren't the most comfortable but they're not bad. I mean I wasn't expecting them to be too comfortable being as they're solid on the seat and there are bars on the back but you can buy cushions which strap on, so I'll be doing that to cosy them up! Overall, I am impressed with the table and I'm glad I purchased it. Ive enjoyed a few meals at it already, I've also had quite a few compliments on it. I would recommend it.
