Several weeks in, and going very well.
I don't really know what to think about the fluoride health scare. Some people think it is a horrible poison, while others think it is perfectly harmless. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. But I think it won't do any harm to stop using it, at least for a short time. Nano Hydroxyapatite has been used in Europe for quite a while without issues, so I decided to give it a go. This Bioniq claims to have the highest percentage of Hydroxyapatite of any brand. I seriously researched and could not find any other brand that met that standard. There were a few with 10%, and some with 15%, even one with 18%, but Bioniq was the only brand with 20%. Considering that it is supposed to be the active ingredient, and the prices of all the brands were similar, it was an easy choice to make. Then, just before I ordered it, I asked my dentist about it. He actually gave it his blessing. That was the deciding factor! I used it for the first time last night, then again this morning. My first impression was that it didn't seem any different than other toothpastes. It had the same texture, smell, and feel in the mouth. If I had to pick something to differentiate, I might say it was a little less sweet-tasting, which is something I appreciate. My teeth felt just as clean and fresh as when I used my other toothpaste. Will it whiten my teeth? Maybe, but my teeth are not too stained anyway, because I don't drink coffee. Will it adversely affect my dental health? Probably not in the short term. I realize it will take time to know if this is worth it, so stay tuned, and I will update this review after I finish this tube. 3/28/2026 Update: After using this for the past several weeks, I am impressed! I haven't done anything differently besides swapping out my usual toothpaste for the Bioniq. I went to my semi-annual dental cleaning and was asked if I had been doing something extra, because my teeth were unusually clean and had less plaque and tartar. The only thing I can attribute this to is the Bioniq. Yes, it is more expensive, but I feel it is certainly worth it. 4/06/2026 update: I think I should mention a few points that I may have skimmed over in the first pat. 1. My regular toothpaste was a popular sensitive brand using potassium nitrate and, of course, sodium fluoride. I still won't get into the controversy regarding sodium fluoride because I think the jury is still out on the long terms effects. But, I will comment on potassium nitrate. This does absolutely nothing to fill in the tiny tubules and caries that expose the nerves, it only acts as a numbing agent. That is where, I think, the major benefit of hydroxyapatite comes in. It replaces some of the lost calcium, remineralizes the teeth with the exact substance that makes up over 80% of your teeth naturally. It also smooths out the surface of teeth making it more difficult for plaque to adhere. 2. After the first couple of weeks without my "sensitive" formula toothpaste, I started to feel twinges of pain in my teeth when eating certain foods. Regardless, I persevered and stuck to the new regimen. Within another week or two the pain subsided and I have not felt any discomfort since then. 3. It may be too early to know for sure, and I might be imagining the benefit, but I feel that my teeth are actually smoother than they were before. Anyway, I have felt good enough about Bioniq that I have purchased more and will continue to use it. 4. I will be visiting my dentist again this summer to have a tooth that I broke last year repaired. I plan to have an extensive discussion regarding Bioniq. If he has any significant things to say, I will return to this review and make another update. Until otherwise noted, I stand behind my five stars!!!

Gentle, High-Quality Toothpaste That Leaves Teeth Feeling Truly Clean
I’ve been using this Bioniq toothpaste for a while now, and it’s honestly one of the more impressive alternatives to traditional toothpaste I’ve tried. The texture is smooth and the mint flavor is clean without being overpowering—it leaves your mouth feeling fresh, but not in that overly intense, artificial way some toothpastes do. What really stands out is how gentle it feels while still doing a great job cleaning. The hydroxyapatite formula is a big plus for me since it’s meant to help strengthen enamel and protect teeth over time, which you don’t always get with standard toothpaste. I’ve also noticed my teeth feel smoother after brushing, almost like that just-left-the-dentist feeling. Another thing I appreciate is that it’s fluoride-free and doesn’t have that harsh or foamy feel you sometimes get from other brands. It seems especially good if you have sensitive teeth or just want something a bit more balanced for everyday use. Honestly, I don’t have any real complaints. It’s a little more “specialty” than your typical toothpaste, but it feels worth it for the quality and how well it performs.

fixed my pain
Went to dentist after having a month of pain that I could've sworn was a cavity. He and xrays proved its not a cavity, just sensitivity from wearing down my enamel - likely from jaw clenching and being a 50 y/o coffee and selzer drinker. Google suggested hydroxyapatite toothpaste to help rebuild enamel which blew my mind especially since my dentist gave me no suggestions. I randomly picked a brand based on 5 minutes of research and reviews, and I'm here to tell you that this Bioniq 20% is absolutely fixing me! I legit felt relief within a day or two. Been about a month now and I don't get the sensitivity anymore! Only on occassion when I have food stuck and it hits the opposing tooth when biting. Reminds me to brush more lol. I can't say its this brand specificially, but I do whole heartedly now believe in the power of hydroxyapatite. This paste tastes like any other light minty paste, doesn't get as bubbly in my mouth. They recommend brushing for 2 full minutes, i can barely do 1, and it still works.

Reduces sensitivity, keeps gums healthy
I have been using this toothpaste for about 6 months. I’m placing my 5th order. I got it on sale originally and normally do not buy mint flavored toothpaste. The mint in most toothpaste is astringent and not good for gum health. This was the highest concentration of 20% HA of any toothpaste I could find. So I purchased a tube on sale despite having a strict “no mint flavored toothpaste” rule. Mint almost always immediately increases my tooth and gum sensitivity. This product surprisingly did not increase sensitivity despite the quite concentrated mint flavor. I still do not like the taste and if I could get this concentration of HA in any other brand or flavor I definitely would. I took off one star for the very strong, astringent mint flavor. It’s unnecessary and contradicts the purpose of the toothpaste. If you have good oral hygiene there is no need for such bold, astringent flavors. If your breath still smells despite good oral hygiene it is likely a different problem like post nasal drip or ongoing sinus infections (I can smell these a mile away on other people and always want to help them without offending them but there is no nice way to say “hey, your breath smells like a sinus infection and you may need antibiotics”). Aside from the flavor this toothpaste is the best I’ve found. My teeth have decreased sensitivity significantly while using this. So whatever damage is being done with the astrigent mint is being made up for with the high concentration of HA. My teeth and gums are very pink and healthy. This is in combination with good oral hygiene and flossing once a day (with oral picks between meals) and brushing 2 times a day. I find this to be affordable and effective at maintaining dental hygiene as well as reducing tooth sensitivity better than potassium nitrate. This toothpaste is otherwise an affordable option with high concentration of HA to help remineralize teeth. I think it would work even better without the mint.

Effective & Gentle
I have noticed that I do not experience as much sensitivity pain, to cold & hot. I like that it doesn't leave a heavy(menty) taste or after taste in the mouth, just a clean feel. The texture is smooth & does not run. I like the foaming effect as it cleans.

A top notch foamy toothpaste w/ an incredible 20% nHa!
This is by far the best nHa toothpaste I've used. Zero was great but this stuff is superior. It foams like crazy and leaves my teeth feeling very clean. With 20% nHa, it's at least double what all the other popular brands are. Haven't been using it long enough to say whether the whitening is effective or not but I can say I have very sensitive teeth and several pre-cavities that are starting to form and this definitely helps. Price is steep for toothpaste but I look at it as a cheap insurance policy for my teeth. Tube has an easy screw cap and it's made in Germany so quality is top notch. Very happy with it, def my new favorite!

Your Next Level of Dental Care
I normally have pretty good teeth but it's taking it one step forward in cleanliness shine and reduction of sensitivity in areas where I have issues. For my kids definitely outstanding marks during dental checkups- the dentist have nothing to clean. Best part the mint is definitely that fresh mint you look forward to whenyou finish brushing.

Great toothpaste, terrible service
Great toothpaste. I've subtracted 2 stars as this vendor and/or Amazon has a habit of saying it's "in stock" when it's not. This is the 3rd time I've ordered this brand where Amazon has said it's in stock and will deliver in 2 days, but i end up not receiving it for 1-2 weeks. This time it was delayed 3 weeks! Amazon should not allow vendors to list a product in stock, and being shipped from an Amazon distribution center, if that's not actually the case. I'll be buying a different brand moving forward.

Vraiment efficace pour mon cas !
Vraiment efficace !
