Typically using 5%-20% solution. Instructions for Horizontal surfaces recommend 5%. That would be about 6.4oz to a gallon, or 0.8oz in a 16oz spray bottle. Hope this helps. I use it on cars, jet ski's, boats and pretty much anything exposed to road salt or the ocean. I standby this product for sure. **Q: Will this remove salt from concrete?** A: Sorry, but it is impossible to answer that question because it depends on how you apply it. Using with the mixer, you could treat it over and over. Putting it in a sprayer straight up, you might only get one or two applications. If the area is really stubborn, I would do a 50:1 and threat the other areas full strength if needed. The trick, is that the 512:1 ratio is enough to break the bond salt has with other objects, then you just wash it away. Using as directed like this is suitable for most applications. **Q: When flushing an outboard engine will Salt-Away clean the water passages from dirt and other debris, or just salt?** A: It's mostly used to neutralize salt but I think just the action of flushing it with water and Salt Away would remove most dirt and other debris in the water passages as well.
