Good for extending internet around the house
I purchased the 2-Port 600mbps Passthrough Powerline kit and it has greatly enhanced my home network connectivity range. The powerline adaptors give me a reliable and convenient solution for extending the network connection throughout my house. Pros: Easy Setup: The powerline kit is wonderfully easy to set up. You simply plug one adapter into a power outlet close to your router and connect the adaptor via an Ethernet cable. The second adaptor goes into a power socket in the desired room and again using an ethernet cable connect to your device. There is no complicated setting up or wiring, you simply plug and go. I've had mine running for a while now and the connection is fast and Stable. The powerline adaptors cleverly utilise the electric circuits in your home to extend the internet network. This creates a strong and steady connection, ideal for my internet needs such as online gaming and streaming TV. Socket outlets are a premium in my house so it was important not to lose the only one close to the TV and Xbox, so I opted for the pass through adaptors, this allows you to use the power outlet for other devices without sacrificing an available socket. The adaptors are both the same so it doesn't matter which one goes where, they both have the same pass through so you don't lose the use of a socket and each have a single Ethernet port, this allows you to connect a single device or you can add a multi port ethernet box which are inexpensive and work well, this will provide extra flexibility for connecting multiple devices, such as gaming consoles, smart TVs, and computers. The adaptors have green led lights showing that power is on and network is ok which is handy, plus they aren't too bright in the bedroom. Cons: Need to be on the same circuit to work. So if you want to use it in the shed or your upstairs sockets are on a different one to downstairs then it won't work. The longer the circuit then the effectiveness of the adaptor may diminish but in a standard house is not an issue. Overall, the 600mbps Passthrough Powerline Adaptors are a solid reliable solution for extending network connectivity throughout your home. With its easy plug and go setup, solid connection, passthrough outlet, and god Ethernet speed it's an easy option for improving network reach. I would recommend these as a great addition to any home network.

Incredible!
What a godsend this device is! The wifi in my office is abhorrent, decent down and up speeds, but multiplayer gaming was impossible due to the latency and rubber band issues. I needed to plug in an ethernet cable, but have no port for one in my offfice; these were the solution! Easy to plug and play and easy to pair, they can be used just like a normal plug (I have an extension cable plugged into mine for my PC/monitor/xbox) and now I can use my ethernet cable in my office and can play online with absolutely no issues! If you need ethernet in a room without a port, these are the only solution!

Works as I hoped
This product has fixed my terribly inconsistent wifi while gaming, I always lag while playing fifa (fc) and this has made it so I have zero lag and constant 16 ping with zero packet loss, this will not increase your WiFi’s mbps so if you run a test on your ps or Xbox it will stay the same as it was but it will 100 percent fix any lag issues you have

Lifesaver
I have used items like these in the past and had nothing but issues , latency , disconnections , poor speeds and nothing but pain . However having no other real answer on a budget I needed something in the house to get my son up and running on his pc for gaming in his room. Being dubious and expecting nothing but disappointment again I ordered these ..... How wrong was I ? These have been perfect had zero latency , ping or disconnect issues . My son gets more speed from these than I do being sat in the same room as my router which is a madness , took seconds to set up , having the outlet socket aswel is such a good idea as no matter how many sockets you have , there's always one more you need . I never thought I would give these a review or even keep them , and send them back . But literally saved the sons gaming life and would recommend to anyone who has doubts.

Fire stick buffering solved.
Genius. We have three Amazon fire sticks and two work fine but the third is in the kitchen, the furthest room away from the router in the loft and the fire stick just buffered. The home page came up okay but we couldn't bring down any programmes. All we got was the message that we were off line. Shucks. So, I hit the internet and searched for an answer. Ignoring the advice to power wash all our gizmos (right, that's not happening) I finally found someone who had the same problem and solved it with a powerline adaptor. I'd never heard of one but it could work. Apparently, it will either work or not depending on the mains network in your house. You need to connect one adaptor by ethernet cable to the internet router, pair it to the other adaptor and then join that to an ethernet adaptor connected to the fire stick. As our house is a mish-mash of extensions done at differing times, I didn't hold much hope but it worked immediately and the fire stick pinged into life and we now have a fully functioning fire stick in the kitchen. Hurrah. It has buffered twice since we did this but only for a second and then carried on okay. Mostly, the programmes play without problems. Much better than the nothing we had before. It's great. The two ethernet cables are included and long enough (about 1.5m) to stretch from the router to a socket. The adaptors must be in a proper socket and not an extension. The Amazon ethernet adaptor - which you need to bridge between the powerline adaptor and the fire stick - is tiny and fits into the usb c socket on the fire stick and then connects through the usb c on the ethernet adaptor as does the ethernet cable to the second paired powerline adaptor. It's clearer when you have the set up in front of you. The only downside is that the ethernet cable stretches across the kitchen wall to the socket by the floor and is in full view - unlike the tv socket which is hidden behind the set. However, we're so glad to have it working that we'll live with it and I'll paint it to match the background to make it as invisible as possible. All in all, we're well pleased and more than delighted to be able to watch whatever while we're in the kitchen. No more frustrating buffering. Problem solved. Thank goodness.

Easy to set up and work, but misleading speed advertised
I have a pair of 600mb/s plugs, and a pair of 1000mb/s plugs, as part of the same system. Overall it was easy to set up (just plug in and press a button) and works reliably. Having a passthrough power socket is really useful too, for when you've got a limited number of sockets. I have one plug next to my router downstairs, and two upstairs. I used to have one in the garage too. No problems with any of the connections. My main criticism is that the 600mb/s plugs are basically falsely advertised, as the ports only support 10/100mb/s, so you're never going to get more than 100mb/s through them, regardless of the theoretical maximum connection speed between the two plugs, even under ideal conditions. The 1000mb/s plugs have gigabit ethernet ports, so don't suffer from this limitation, and your speed will instead be limited by the actual transmission between plugs. I get about 170mb/s through my upstairs 1000mb/s plug, which isn't bad I don't think. Obviously if you can install actual ethernet cables into your house then you'll get better speeds, and you'll likely get better speeds with a modern WiFi router (and range extender, if your reason for buying these plugs is poor reception further from your router) too. However, if those solutions aren't possible or desirable for you, or you think your wifi network is overloaded or subject to interference etc then I'd recommend these plugs. NB performance will depend on the characteristics of wiring in your home, so you may get much better or much worse performance than me.

Simple and Effective
I have a superhub 3, connection in my office which is upstairs around 10 metres away is shocking. This fixed it completely. Steam download speed gone from 900KB/s maximum to 15MB/s easily, ping is low and stable. Really saved the day.
