MOTHERS 155700 Wheel/Rim Cleaning Brush

This a great wheel brush from MOTHERS. It's very well made (it doesn't seem to have lost any bristles yet after 6 months of regular use) and the protective rubber "bumper" and soft flexible bristles prevent any scratches. Although it's ideal for cleaning delicate wheel finishes such as diamond cut and can also be used to clean the arches, I actually use mine for cleaning my car's upper and lower plastic honeycomb grilles, which get pretty dirty and would otherwise be really tricky to clean. In the summer months I pre-spray with waterless wash or detailer and then brush out the dirt, and in the winter I do a snow foam pre-wash and then thoroughly soak with shampoo before brushing. This brush gets into all the small gaps and doesn't seem to mark or scratch at all. What a great versatile cleaning brush - highly recommended!

As with anything car cleaning / detailing the cost of items has steadily increased due to detailing becoming more mainstream. The cost of the brush seems a little high To be totally honest however the product is good and seems that it’ll last. The bristles are soft and pick up debris well so it does need regular rising. This is a good thing as it cleans rather than pushes dirt around. Size wise it is on the larger side only just clearing the gap between tyre and wheel arch. On a sportier car this may be a problem. I’ve paired this brush with a meguiars wheel spoke brush and they work together. When / if this brush dies I will certainly buy another.

Works well so far

Been using this brush on a weekly basis for a while now and it’s been holding up well, the bristles are still nice and straight and overall I’m happy with the build quality and price. It makes cleaning the tyres and wheels a breeze, the bristles are also soft enough to not scratch the wheels, and the big size makes cleaning quick, overall very happy and wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.

I previously used a sponge but no need now. A great brush and worth the money

It worked really well, until I put it into the bucket of warm water. It went all hard and the bristles all turned up. It was useless after that. The water wasn't hot because I was albe to stick my hand into the bucket with the sponge.

Great wheel brush doesn't scratch

Not too big, not too small and bristles are flexible enough to get into those smaller spaces.

Ergonomically easy to use, very effective in cleaning the brake dust off my rims. I also use this to clean my dirt bike, great for reaching into the little nooks and crannies around the exposed motor.

Happy with this brush. Strong enough to scrub the tyres but also fine on the wheel itself.

Finde diese Bürste wirklich super, liegt fein in der Hand und man kann ohne Probleme die Sichtseite der Felgen und des Gummis reinigen. Je nach Felge kommt man auch ins Bett hinein. Verwende diese Bürste auch um die Radkästen zu reinigen und ist wirklich empfehlenswert und hat keine harten Borsten. Diese sind eher fein und weich und kommt deswegen auch in kleinere Ecken rein und macht keine Kratzer.

Cepillo estupendo, suave y totalmente engomado por sus bordes para no arañar las llantas, robusto y ligero, no es barato pero merece la pena.

5 stars all the way! The Mothers Wheel and Fender Brush absolutely impressed me. The bristles are soft enough to avoid scratching, yet firm enough to really lift off dirt and grime — and it made quick work of the rims on my Jeep Rubicon.
