LEGO 60103 City Airport Air Show Construction Set

Another great build from LEGO. Bought this for my son at Christmas. I ended up doing most of the build of course (absolutely no complaints there). It took around an hour and a half to complete. Very well built, of course, everything just worked as it does with this brand. Somewhat expensive but got it at a discount price. The hanger is large enough to fit each of the aircraft, not together. Usual comprehensive instruction manual and labeled bags that correspond to parts and models. Great fun and many hours of fun had with it since.

i purchased this as a gift for my nephew, so can't comment on what it is like but for almost £20 which i paid for it i thought it would be bigger than it was, it comes in a small box, i guess thats what you get with Lego, good quality but also a high price tag to go with it

Bought for my 10yr old nephew, he loved it. Made me build most of it, but he loved it. It's not a complicated build, but the plane itself is genuinely big. But as a model, it is a mixed bag. It has some great details, like winglets and a toilet, but then doesn't have a hinged roof for easy access. The centre fuselage is made from bricks, but the nose, tail and wings are single pre-moulded pieces. So it's an odd mix for me, but then I'm an adult who enjoys the build, whereas my nephew is a child who enjoys the play... and this plane is great for the wow play factor. The terminal is cool too, with revolving doors, a baggage conveyor belt, and a ATC control room. There is a pilot, an engineer, a check-in dude and some passengers... but no one to operate the control tower. Like I said, some slightly odd choices.

Arrived well within the stated time. My grandson is absolutely thrilled with this Lego set. It has been discontinued for some time, so I feel lucky that I was able to buy it at a very competitive price.

Kept my 6 year old grandson amused for hours making it, then more hours playing with it. Quite complicated but he mastered it himself without any help. More's the pity as I would have loved to "help". A really nice kit - X-wing fighter next ! (perhaps for me)

Got this while it was £50 instead of £75, as a lover of planes already and a Lego newbie it was a logical step to get this. The two fighter jets look cool and the Biplane is a fun build. The hangar is mainly plates and some technic parts but it has a nice Grey and Orange theme like the biplane. The little Runway cart is your average 'quad bike or mini car' sized build with stickers for details. Mine came with a spare fire hose, spare aviator's goggles and some studs.

It looks great, but in younger hands the wings and tail of the aeroplane come off too easily. However, they are easy to reattach and a lot of fun has been had with this.

A present for my Lego obsessed son and another great set from Lego. You can't beat them for attention to detail and quality. This is his first plane set and won't be his last-he particularly likes the red planes in this set. Would recommend this for any budding Lego enthusiast

As always, LEGO makes great products. My 7 year old enjoys playing with it and has been playing with this for a year now. Very well made and well delivered by Amazon, on time.
