Believe the hype!
I had been muddling along with a designer branded wallet that had become loose over time. All of my cards would fall out whenever I put the wallet down or took it out of my pocket. Added to that it was just plain bulky and left a large in my back pocket.I had seen ads online for the Bellroy range and saw that their pricing was toward the upper end. I wondered if the product was a result of slick advertising and nothing more or if there was substance behind the spin. Anyway, I decided to take a chance and treat myself and am delighted I did.The product is a revelation. It holds more cards, more securely in less space than my old wallet. It has plenty of space for European sized bank notes. It seems well-made and durable (though I've only had it for six weeks so far so I'll update if that's not the case in six months). It looks stylish and the orange thread makes for a pleasing contrast to the brown tone of the wallet itself. This would make a really delightful Christmas present for a gent you really like or a close relative.

Nice wallet. Not sure if it is worth the high price.
It's just an OK wallet. It is built well and manages to stay fairly slim when fully stocked but the hidden compartment seems a bit of a gimmick and adds unnecessary bulk. There are also a lot of hidden slots for cards which again seem unnecessary.I'm not convinced that this wallet is worth the high price.

I looked at these wallets for ages and I'm glad I bought one
I looked at these wallets for ages and I'm glad I bought one. With the same amount of cards in it as my old wallet it's less than half as thick. Excellent quality leather, very well finished and a pleasure to won and use.The hide part isn't obligatory, you can simply fold the leather into the wallet and there's two banknote spaces. Or use the hide bit as designed.Thoroughly recommend this.

Not the greatest for storing loads of coins.
Good as a slimline wallet, with a caveat. The coin pouch is useless as the coins keep sliding out! So if you don't have a separate coin pouch and are relying on it to carry your coins, don't really use this. It would help even if they had a micro velcro lock or something to keep coins in. I like the concept, but the leather isn't the greatest either, but at £65, I don't expect the finest calf's leather, but it was still a little bit rough. I would give it 3.5 instead of 4 if I could, but I always round up.Thinking of getting the Card Sleeve for my Oyster Card and all the other non essential cards I have.

Ideal wallet size.
My old wallet did not sit well in dress trousers but it took me a while to take the plunge and buy a Bellroy. I wish I'd done it sooner. The wallet is ideally sized for my daily and occasional cards plus some cash; I've not managed to go the whole hog in slimming my wallet contents yet. The leather holds in well to daily use with very minor creasing and scuffs from being in the same jeans pocket as keys, pen and change. If kept in a jacket pocket it would still be flawless.

It arrived very promptly and seems very well made. I thought it a little expensive compared to other slim wallets, but the "Hide and seek" feature is something I have not seen on other wallets.

Quality wallet
This is probably my favorite purchase of 2016. Bought mine in March, and even stuffed full of mostly useless cards, it's maintained its shape and slim form. I would recommend this if you are deciding between a regular wallet or a card holder-money clip combo as it is thin with high capacity. Leather seems pretty durable, too. The Bellroy branding is nice and understated.

Best wallet I've ever owned.
Best wallet I've ever owned, without question. Very thoughtfully laid out, and cavernous. Also, perfectly sized for British 20 pound notes, both in the exposed and the concealed sections. Lovely leather too, and a pretty subtle logo.
