Is this surround suitable for standard sized UK number plates?

Hi Tabby, I 'um'd & ah'd for a little while before deciding upon these which were to replace those that I'd left on my previous vehicle. They will allow you fit standard Dealership plates (those with the name of the franchise on the bottom) but I would point out are a 'snug' fit when applying them to the surround. The bottom piece that came separately within the pack will cover the name once fitted. You also will have to use your Reg Plate as a template against the surround backplate to ascertain the position of your current fixing screws - there are lots of little slots to choose from but it's 'sod's law' they may not line up, so a little nibbling out may be required ! Equally I found the same exercise was required to the Dealership strip on the Reg plate to accommodate the three holding clips on the bottom strip - a 1cm hole was sufficient. Yes, it might sound as though it's fiddly to get these Surrounds fitted, but once done I certainly prefer them to my old ones and was happy that I chose them. ;-)

I have a freelander and the front plate is standard but the rear plate is square? do you cater for that shape/style plate?

I have not seen a chrome holder for a square number plate but does not mean there isnt one.

Are screws supplied with this? If not what kind do i need to fix it to my car?

You can use your original screws. The number plates have multiple fixing points

Can i fit one at the front on my 2016 merc e class 207 coupe, as it bends in the centre. of can i just buy the back one?
