Hi, is the gap small enough to keep a kitten from escaping?

Hi did you manage to find one suitable as i need one a rabbit cant get through but only finding 5.7cm gaps which are to big.

is this suitable for staircase railings? (one side is the rail other side is a wall)

I have mine in a doorway - I would think it would be fine on a staircase railing as long as it’s tall enough and level top and bottom.

Are those chunky bits on the bottom and top in the middle, that connect the two pieces of gate, made of plastic or metal? My pup would chew plastic!
