GABIL GRA-AD35 3/8-24 to PL-259 Antenna Adapter for SO-239 Mount

Excellent adapter and will fit multiple antennas and devices as needed! KEEP YOUR ATAS DIAMOND 400 AND KEEP THE ATAS SMA CS13SMA CONNECTOR! GET THIS! I specifically brought this because my atas120 died and I refused to buy another ATAS. I wanted to still use the Diamond 400 (the bracket for the ATAS Diamond 400) and the SMA cable C213SMA (the cable that fit the ATAS120) This perfect fit on tight and will be so sturdy for my Gabil anatenna GRA-CFS20 for the mobile attenea for on the go! The coil of the GRA-CFS20 fits tight and perfect for the go! 20m has always been my go to band being mobile and for quick POTA. I love the option of disconnecting and putting the cap on my SMA when done moving around. Very satisifed! Winner winner chicken dinner!

I use to attach 2 mag mounts to the roof of my car, when heading out to a POTA activation, now I use one. I attach this to my Chameleon 17’ whip & can easily change to Diamond ham sticks when not in the mood to fuss around with adjusting the length of the whip for the different bands.

Nice adapter, very heavily built but that is one of two reasons Im knocking a star off. It is to heavy for backpack use with the 7350 antenna , the adapter is heavier than the whole 7350 antenna . The second issue i have is it came missing the lock screw. I dont need it but if I had bought this for mobile use which I think it is its actual purpose I would been upset the screw is not there . I picked up the tripod and did something a bit different for my portable ops which uses a similarly L heavy adapter.

Was well made very solid design.

This adapter is solid! And thus feels quite heavy for its size. The finish is good and the PL259 plug thread is cleanly cut allowing the unit to screw on easily and firmly. It arrived well packed in its own small, thick and tough cardboard tube. As the description photographs show, it comes with a small screw and spring washer which screws into a hole in the side. I imagined this was to allow connection of ground/counterpoise wires, but the screw is so long it protrudes right through the wall of the PL259 section. There are no instructions or parts list provided that would give a clue as to its intended purpose. Perhaps it's to prevent the adapter being unscrewed in a permanent installation - it would certainly destroy the thread of the SO239 plugged into if tightened enough. In any case I will probably pack a few washers under the screw head and use as I envisioned to attach counterpoise wires. Although expensive to get here in Australia, I could find no alternative sources and from its apparent quality I certainly expect it will perform the required task for many years.

This product seems to work well with a fire stick antenna. Little tuning required.

Allows for conversion from so-239 to 3/8-24 and is very strong.
