Google it that might help. **Q: I have black and gold ink, and the black works well, but the gold just doesn't stay on the nib. What sould I do? I shaked the bottle.** A: Some nibs have a coating which you can remove by soaking in hot water for a little time. **Q: Can you water this down?** A: Water can be added to this product. Very happy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sherbet in a bottle *by P***S on 14 January 2025* I'd previously tried a gold ink from same brand which was awful, didn't work at all with a glass dip pen and really wishy washy. This needs a really good shake before-hand and continuous shaking whilst you're dipping in and out but oh my, it's mesmerising watching the gold atoms whirlpool, snake and settle around as you use it, really is stunning, true gold colour, not rosy or yellowish or bronze if that helps. I used it with a sharp manga flex dippy nib to write xmas cards, couldn't stop staring at it.
