Lovely stuff used on my kitchen counter, goes a long way

This oil was suggested to us by our kitchen fitter and it has given us a lovely finish to our new oak tops. The fitter suggested we keep feeding it until we get an even sheen all over as some of the segments of wood soak up more oil than others. You need to make sure you are not putting too much on at one go so it could take you a few days to get the best finish. We found it best to put a coat on with a clean cloth so that you are rubbing it in and then once all coated go over lightly making sure there aren't any areas too overloaded. We did this every evening so that it could soak in over night and be quite dry the next day and we reapplied like this until the required finish was obtained. Tin says that once coated the finish should harden more with time. Has been very easy to use and very happy with the finish and water seems to bead well on it.

We shopped around and tried various worktop oils, but this one was the best, it’s easy to apply and the smell is beautiful, and once you leave for roughly 5-10 mins buff it up with another cloth and you will see the difference in your worktops. Well worth the money so if you are thinking about it do not hesitate.

Product applies well and provides a hard coating. It’s more of a varnish than an oil.Coverage is good I used a really small amount, maybe 150ml for 2 coats on a large kitchen island.HOWEVER…. Forget what is says on the tin regs drying time. It takes around 10-12 hours to cure and in reality 24 hours for full hardening. It remains tacky for several hours 7+ so allow for this if you need the worktop. It’s a strong solvent smell too so windows open!Apart from that it’s a great product

As you can see there was a water mark before in my bathroom and the water was damaging my counter tops. I found this item easy to use and I'm no handy man. I'm just a lady that wants to protect her bathroom countertop. Very very absorbant and quick drying, nice and glossy but not too much shine. Love it. I gave it only 2 coats and that's perfect. Follow the instructions on tin. Will buy again and recommend. Does exactly what it says. Small container for the price but for a small area like a bathroom it will definitely last a long time. It's money we'll spent. Now I feel my counter top is protected for a really long time 👍🏽

Great product - used this for the last 10 years

Being a but tight fisted . I will be honest did use a cheaper product on my worktops absolute disaster . This product is brilliant . But a word of caution read the instruction . Do not use it if its cold . Don't try and cut corners . If you follow the instructions you will have a superb looking work top . Also prep is so important

I started using this when I first had walnut work tops, stopped when the price went over £30. Gone straight back to this, the old adage you get what you pay for, relates here. Work tops look brand new, love this stuff, easy to apply and dries if you apply it right. I use a paintbrush to apply a thin layer, leave 20/30 mins and wipe down, then repeat.
