Oxford Essential French Dictionary: French- English - English-French

Portable , helpful to my daughter

Gave as gift to my French friends, who will find the dictionary interesting, whereas they can change from English to French and French to English.

I should have bought this several years ago. I love to visit France and speak a little of the language. For several years I've been using the Oxford Concise French Dictionary that I had in my schooldays, but it's way out of date and I've struggled to find modern day idioms. I've just bought this new Essential dictionary and found that it answers many of the things that have puzzled me. This dictionary is up to date and contains the words and phrases that are in common use. I'm due to visit again soon and I'm happier that I've bought this reference book.

Small, easy to carry and fit for purpose. Type is a little small and sometimes hard to read.

Hi many time you sent, your mails i acquired but an iterm being agreed with you i never get it. so unseen a something call Oxford fransial / french English dictionary while, i paid my Money after that you sent a massage my package is coming but up to now unseen iterm, unseen money back. Helpful book for learning French especially for Kids

A good dictionary to have on hand. I prefer having a book over searching things on the Internet. I think this adds valued to our younger generations. I bought this so that my daughter can keep it in her desk at school for times when she’s not allowed to use the device to correct her spelling or search the meaning of words. I would recommend it for any parent of a young child to get them used to looking up words old-fashioned way
