Works, but with one slight caveat
This works fine for what I need. I'm connecting a digital piano and music source so I can mix both to headphones. It's not super loud, but certainly loud enough. The caveat is that it does introduce some noise. If you want to use batteries to power this then I'd probably suggest you look elsewhere. On batteries the background hiss is too loud and distracting. I'm using USB power and while it's still not silent any noise is pretty much way in the background. With music playing it disappears. On batteries, even with music playing, you can still hear the hiss. Build quality feels ok. For the money I am happy, but not when used on batteries.

For the value its a good lil mixer
However overtime I noticed it introducing noise and having to figure if the noise was more/less prevalent when it was on AC Power or battery. I no longer have a need for a mixer as much nowadays but it atleast worked for when I needed this.

Too noisy
Overrall it's not bad from a build perspective, however mine is incredibly noisy at times, I've never managed to eliminate this issue completely, even after using several different cables for both power and 3.5mm audio. Edit - given this another star as I found that the source of the noise was my crappy dell monitor!

Brilliant small personal mixer
When away I play an electric sax and I like to use backing tracks of the band at the same time. This little mixer allows me to plug in the iPhone, PC (running notation software [MuseScore]) and the sax all at the same time. I can now play along to MP3 or the score and get some practice in Output direct to headphones or the music player in the caravan. Very small and clips onto belt - very neat. Not sure how long 2 AAA batteries will last but also has micro USB power input if I run out. Pretty sure this would work on stage although all the jacks are smaller 3.5 mm not 1/4" so adaptors would be needed.

Perfect for mixing multiple devices.
As someone who struggles to “switch off” my work brain, I often like to play video games on my PC while listening to a podcast or music on my tablet. This lets me mix both into one set of headphones perfectly. I can even add in a phone (with the headphone mic split out - you can find the right cables on this site) so I can chat with my family as well, all with the game/music sounds completely isolated from the mic. Fantastic, works well and affordable.

Don’t bother
This is really bad. I wasn’t expecting much but I was at least expecting it to ‘just mix’ to a competent level. I tinker with synthesisers and wanted something simple that I can use away from my main desk for when I just fancy playing on the sofa. This seemed ideal due to size and battery power. Well, first up the batteries don’t really sit tightly in the device so a jolt or squeeze means they lose contact and it turns off. Next, when using batteries loud noises gain clicks and hiss. So that function is useless. Onwards, I used a power bank which removes that issue but being able to use it for longer I quickly realised that it picks up loads of interference. From my phone and presumably WiFi or a passing bumblebee. It feels so light I was worried it would ascend into the sky and I can’t imagine it would be very durable. Sending this back and getting a Mackie mix 5 to complement my mix12. It has to be powered from the wall sure, but then this was useless with batteries anyway so not a big loss. Plus it’s less money and built way better. I can’t think of a use for this unless you like your audio to sound bad.

Good at first
It seemed to work well initially and was nice and simple. Could not get it to work with microphone though. Sadly it gave up after 3weeks.

Small, limited but quiet.
i was a bit surprised by the build quality of this, which feels much cheaper than the price it sells for. Obviously because it's so small the fader throw is tiny and the gain knobs feel quite insubstantial and wobbly. I think an all knob design might have been more sensible, which tends to be the norm on mini mixers. Having said that, it's quiet and it works. I've only used it as a submixer for two stereo line level sources, which I guess would be the default application for it. The manual suggests you can use it to mix up to 5 sources but that would require a lot of splitters/adapters. I haven't tried it but I can imagine it would be hard work as presumably you'd end up with things panned hard left or right that you wouldn't be able to do much about. Obviously there's no metering, but a red LED acts as an overload indicator. It's a bit overenthusiastic, even with the input gain at zero (there's a lot of gain on tap, presumably so it can handle dynamic microphones). The aux input seems to have the same gain setup as the other inputs but lacks the gain and balance controls. Clearly it's very portable. I've been running it off USB power and haven't experienced any noise issues, even with devices running off the same power source. So while I'm happy with it I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than the most basic submix use. Despite what the promotional blurb tells you, it's not going to cope with more demanding use cases.

This is a tiny little mixer. It's made of plastic and I guess is meant to be mobile. I have mine to mix at my computer and works very well. It doesn't come a power cord or wall wort but rather a set of batteries. I'd recommend getting a micro usb transformer and cord and just plugging it in. If you try to use batteries, it can get a buzz into the sound. I was able to remedy that with just moving around the batteries. I have not had any issue with buzzing using a power cable. I might sound harsh but this is a nice little simple mixer and for that I give it 5 stars.

UPDATE2: Well, this mixer is working perfectly well now. And, I can't replicate any of the problems I was having with this mixer when I first got it. I was getting tons of noise when running off batteries, didn't matter if they were rechargeable or alkalines, and the USB power pack I was running it off of kept shutting down. The seller was responsive as well and assured me that they stand behind their products. I've hooked up this mixer nearly a dozen times now... used an assortment of different cables, mics, aux inputs. I've used it on an iPhone SE and an iPad Pro. Everything has worked perfectly. I CAN get a little bit of noise if I have the mixer sitting right next to the iPhone when they're hooked up together... but nothing like I was getting before. No clue why it's working now, or why it wasn't at first. The best speculation I've got is that when I first unboxed it, and then plugged in the first 3.5mm mini cables into it's 1 & 2 channels, there was some rough resistance. They didn't go in smooth like you'd expect. They do now, but I'm wondering if there was maybe a bit of metal that didn't get finished out inside one of the ports that got knocked free and was causing some kind of short circuit situation? No idea, but now that it's been working perfectly without any hint of the initial problems I experienced, and that now that I know the seller stands behind the product... I don't have any reservation giving this a solid 5-stars. It works well, it's affordable, it's lightweight, easy to use, and functions well off AAA batteries. I'm even having good luck with rechargeable AAAs. Recommended! :) ___ UPDATE: The seller got back to me quickly and offered to give me a small discount after returning/refunding to Amazon then rebuying the mixer. However, after lots of testing yesterday before concluding something was definitely wrong with this mixer... all of the problems went away after reconnecting everything later at a coffee shop. Then later in the evening at home, it was still performing flawlessly. And later in the night, I tried again... did everything exactly the same as before... but nothing would repeat the same failures I'd experienced. Even running it off Ni-MH rechargeable AAAs was perfectly quiet. Earlier, the Just Mixer was shutting off my USB battery pack as well. I'd assumed it was an auto--shutoff in the pack... and it was shutting of due to low power drain, but even that has stopped. The mixer works fine and I'm unable to reproduce the problems I was having before. I'm hesitant to give this more stars yet, in case the mystery problems promptly reappear. But I'll bump it up to 2-star until I'm certain the problems were just a rare fluke. If it's still working fine in a week or so, I'll update the review accordingly. ___ Hello, I bought this mixer a couple weeks ago. The blue one. I'm getting a lot of noise when run off batteries. At first, I thought it was because I was using rechargeable 1.2v Ni-Mh batteries... so as you recommend on your product page, I tried brand new Energizer 1.5v AAA alkaline batteries. Still there's noise. When I'm using the mixer off USB or a USB battery pack, there's no noise at all. ONLY when using AAA batteries. Is there something wrong with this mixer? Would you like to send me a replacement? Or, should I get a refund from Amazon for this? I bought this MOSTLY because it's says it runs off of AAA batteries. If it can't function without excessive noise while running off AAA batteries alkaline OR rechargeable.. it's useless to me.

Compact, easy set up and good sound. Can run off mains (via USB cable - not provided). Some ringing when you attach plugs but once you start playing there is no interference. Have not tested on battery (2xAAA provided) so cannot comment.
