Review: Doesn't Do Much But Does it Well - There not a lot to it and the knobs are pretty cheap feeling, but the unit itself is metal in construction and (most importantly) I haven't noticed any noise from the unit or crosstalk from the inputs. I was concerned there were no mute buttons, but when a knob is on zero it does seem to completely cut all signal, so less of an issue than anticipated. In THEORY - YES, but in practice, not advised. You'd need to feed pc1 left into input 1, pc1 right into input 2, pc2 left into input 3 and pc2 right into input 4. You'd then get 1 output (consisting of a mono output of left AND RIGHT channels from both pc's on a single socket - as I said, less than satisfactory. Far better use the Xenyx 502, which will support stereo outs! **Q: Does it work on 240 volts?** A: The power input is for 12 volts, but in the UK it comes with an adaptor so it can run off the mains supply (which is nominally 230 volts).The information on the adaptor states that it can handle voltages from 100 to 240 volts and draws 300 milliamps.Output is 12volts Direct Current - 150 mA. **Q: Would this work between a low impedance mic to an active speaker like most bands use now?** A: I use it for line level instruments into a guitar amp, which works fine. It has quarter inch inputs, not cannon, so any mics would need to use quarter inch cables. There is no gain or eq, so I would probably go for a mixer with more controls for a band. Saying that, it’s only Β£20, so if it doesn’t work as you want, you can always use it to chain four more inputs into a larger mixer. **Q: Since its mono, I'd only hear a signal through one speaker or do I hear same signal through both of my speakers? It is spec'd at 12V but works OK with 9V with the specially made power cable converter.
