Fantastic whistle clear and loud

I bought this to help me train my Doberman and his recall, what can I say, ITS LOUD, REALLY LOUD!!! It's working a treat and saves my voice if he goes too far or if yet again someone freaks out in the park because a huge scary looking daft as you like Doberman looked over at their labrapuggle, I whistle he gets cheese, I get my dog back, win win. Feels great quality, little tip don't blow it too hard first time in the house, my ears were ringing for ages and my poor dog jumped out of his skin like Scooby Doo had just seen a ghost.

This is a LOVELY whistle in that, not only does it whistle properly as all the old-fashioned whistles, whistled (unlike Asian copies which have a pathetic whistle attempting to act 'grown-up'), but is a pleasure to hold with its solid feel and handsome thick coating of chrome as though it has been poured over. Its defining whistle carries you back to the days of yore recalling memories of the school playground - surely, just ONE reason to own one of these admirably crafted 'tootles'! It certainly more than met my expectations so I'm really pleased it was chosen from the family company who make them. Don't bother with cheap imports, this is the kiddie!

Good and loud but lost a star as was not so well made as previous incarnations we have had. Perfectly serviceable though.

Good noise. Effective for signalling my brownies to come back from where they were running around a field. In hindsight, maybe a quieter whistle would have given me another 5 minutes of peace! Oh well 😊

There's not much that needs to be said about this. It's a sturdy item, feels very well built, and is extremely loud. Easily gets the attention of rowdy Cub Scouts!
