Silvo Metal Polish Wadding, 75g (Pack of 1)

I've used Silvo wadding to clean jewelery and silver for decades, so easy to use: just pull of a bit of the wadding and rub it over the item you want to sparkle, wait until it dries then buff it up with a household duster. It can make the hands rather dirty if you need to clean a lot of items so wear some gloves. The really nice thing about this product is that it still stays moist for years in the can so you don't need to buy it too often.

Great product to use on silver. I used it on my jewellery and it worked wonders!! Mum also use it on her silver picture frames and ornaments and made it look just like new!! Wish I wore gloves the whole time, as my fingers turned black after cleaning the jewellery. Maybe product should’ve come with gloves or mention to wear gloves….lol

It arrived promptly and well packaged. I've been using this product for years and I find it tried and trusted. It's a little bit messed, so you have to prepare yourself. Use newspaper or kitchen rolls to protect the surface your working on. If you don't want black/dirty hands wear rubber gloves, and afterwards give them a good wash. There is a slight smell when you are using the product so it may be advisable to open a window. The instructions are very simple, and have a clean cloth available to buff up the the items of silverware. The used wadding does give off a strong smell so it needs to go in the bin when it's finished with. Happy polishing!

Much easier than a silver cloth, the tarnishing comes straight off then you just buff with any old cloth

used it to clean a large silver plate wine bucket - took a whole tin and whilst I didn't think the bucket was that dirty and I've used it before, this time it just seemed much more messy. Takes the tarnish off the but the cloth and the bucket were black and needed several other cloths and wiping to get the now lose tarnish off. The silvo ended up in the bin. Not reuseable. REally don't remember sacrificing a whole thing before. Seems quite wasteful. Might try traditional liquid polish next time.

BEST SILVER CLEANER EVER I've tried so hard to clean my silver jewellery it was black and I mean black. I've tried cleaning chains my Pandora bracelet and charms but never got the sparkling silver, then I seen this. My jewellery looks amazing I almost threw it out after trying all kinds of cleaners and tin foil and bicarbonate of soda. I can't wait to clean the rest of my things its so easy to use wipe down then buff. The pictures don't show it justice and for the price it really is a steel, I get my beautiful jewellery I'm over the moon.

I love Silvo! Not only does it polish silver, but other metals. Does a great job. The cotton wadding is very easy to use.

pulito di fino un rasoio Gilette del 1921 con suo porta lamette e scatola da viaggio, tutto placato oro. ha tolto 104 anni di patina e di macchie senza minimamente rievocare la placcatura. ho usato i guanti in lattice e la mascherina ma comunque a fine lavoro non ho sentito alcun cattivo odore tipico di questi prodotti. consegna puntuale. consigliatissimo.

The wadding is a great way to polish silver. A few rubs and the tarnish disappeared. So much better than the liquid Silvo from my childhood.
