How does the tare function work on this digital food scale?

Place the bowl or container on the scale, then press ZERO to reset the display to zero. Add each ingredient and press ZERO again when needed, allowing you to weigh multiple ingredients without emptying the bowl.

Can I switch between metric and imperial measurements?

Yes. The EXZACT kitchen scale supports metric and imperial measurements, including grams and pounds/ounces. The unit selector is located on the underside of the scale, while the MODE button changes the weighing function.

What batteries does the kitchen scale need and are they included?
