Top quality oil
Bought to run in the final drive of my BMW touring bike, excellent stuff and I'll certainly be using it in the future, well worth the extra cost over basic transfluid

Jaguar XF
I have used it in my 2012 Jaguar XF to replace rear differential oil. As i needed 75w140 oil for it but didn't know what brand Jaguar uses. Since this Castrol is good for Skyline it will definitely work for my car. Will buy it again after another 60k miles.

Good name and full synthetic
Relatively expensive for what it is, but not as expensive as other makes and half the price of BMW gem oil. If you have a limited slip differential then you don't have too many options.

It's the right grade and type, so it'll do.
Couldn't honestly say whether this the best oil of its kind or not. As long as you use the right grade and type of oil, change it regularly and don't let it get too low pretty much any brand will do.

BMW M5/6 V10 diff oil exaclty the same product BMW charge over 3 times the price for.
As always with Castrol top quality oil well worth the price (which is more than 1/3rd of the price as the exact same oil marked BMW M from the main dealer). Used on a diff oil change on a std BMW E60 M5 rear lsd. Its the exact same oil you get from BMW main dealer with the friction reducer for E60/63 M5/M6 V10.

Ich habe mir dieses Topp-Öl für ein ganz normales Schaltgetriebe in meinem alten Toyota Corolla besorgt. Angetrieben hierzu hat mich ein größerer Getriebelagerschaden zuvor, und die Tatsache, dass das herkömmliche Öl nach jeweils nur 20 Tkm bereits ziemlich dunkel und regelrecht verbrannt aussah. Von den zugegeben etwas heiklen Hypoid-Additiven und der höheren Viskosität verspreche ich mir hauptsächlich einen effektiveren Verschleißschutz. Trotz Bedenken in Sachen Dichtungs- und Buntmetallverträglichkeit (verbindliche Aussagen hierzu waren weder bei Toyota noch beim Öl-Hersteller zu finden) bin damit nun die ersten 10.000 km gefahren und kann bislang - zum Glück! - noch gar nichts Negatives berichten. Im Gegenteil, sobald das Öl einmal seine Betriebstemperatur erreicht hat, klappen die Schaltvorgänge merklich besser. Die ursprünglich enorm ausgeprägte Hakeligkeit dieses Getriebes lässt tatsächlich deutlich spürbar nach! Langzeiterfahrungen, und insbesondere das womöglich kritische Verhalten bei richtiger Kälte, liegen nach so kurzer Verwendungsdauer selbstverständlich noch nicht vor, werden allerdings zur gegebenen Zeit nachgeholt. Bis dato kann jedoch das Öl ohne Weiteres weiter empfohlen werden.
