A game we all can play.

Actually I had bought this for my second language English pupils at school, so usually I wait until I have tried it out with them,but I have to say that the illustrations are very good, the cardboard good quality, plenty of choice, but I agree with another reviewer that it would have been better if some of the more everyday birds had been included. I already have large colourful plastic counters to use, so it will not matter if the ones included in this set are disappointing. Many games have very childish drawings, but these are good, and accurate as far I can tell. I was pleased to read a few notes about the birds, not that I shall use them at school, but merely for my own interest. Quite expensive but overall good quality. I might add more comments after I have tried the game with pupils ranging from eight to fifteen. I have also bought the Ocean set.

I loved the illustrations and I enjoyed learning about new birds. I am interested in games that manage trauma. This is very relaxing. I enjoy playing this in cafes and parks.only downside, I wished they had a golden eagle. I love to get more of these, adult types

Bought this ages ago as a Christmas present, and this year we got to actually play it 😃 I hadn’t realised that there are so many birds 🤔 I didn’t win but enjoyed finding out what the different birds look like 👍

Excellent!!!!! We bought this for bird loving Gramps but he's had to leave it at our house as our 7 year old and 3 year old ADORE this and want us all to play it all the time. Its become their ultimate favourite game, beating our huge collection of Orchard Toys board games, (which are also excellent though). The kids just seem to appreciate the beautiful illustrations of each bird picture and by goodness me, they have been impressing teachers and friends with their knowledge of the pretty Splendid Fairy Wren, the brilliantly named Blue Footed Booby and Andean Cock of the Rock etc etc!!! I never knew half these birds existed! To make the game even more fun, my hubbie googled bird calls when each bingo card was called. The kids roll round in hysterics at the rude raspberry-blowing Great Bustards's bird call! Altogether, i cannot praise this game enough. Given us so many happy times. Soooo very tempted to get Bug bingo too.

Brilliant game

my 3 year old LOVES IT! we also wrote the names of the birds in french on the back and we learn in both languages

My 5 & 7 year olds really enjoy this game. The 2.5 year old is even able to match up some of the pieces with the bingo card (before trying to knock it all over). As an adult I've enjoyed playing it more than some of the other kids games . Much less fighting/crying than games where you can "steal" from other players or knock them back down the board (I'm looking at you Sneaky Snacky Squirrel, Trouble, Chutes & Ladders, etc) It would also be great for a larger family gathering because many people can play. The orange bingo chips are surprisingly made of cheap paper/cardboard but the rest of the game is very nice quality. I will be giving this as a gift at many future birthday parties! Like others I wish there was a version specific to birds in our area, but it's still fun!

Go for it if you have kids below 8 without any second thought Older kids may not play for long

Great family fun for mixed ages. Pictures and names are not 'giveaways', it takes focused looking to identify whether you have the bird being called, and that's a good thing: it kept up interest for even our 7 year old caller for 3 consecutive games. Good quailty pieces, board and pictures. Birds are from around the world and include many with funny and unusual names.

Love this series of Bingo! Really fun and makes you memorise names of birds!
