Laserply Baltic Birch Plywood A4 Sheet 50 Pack by Daisymoon Designs

Having bought laserply from other vendors in the past I can safely say that this was some of the best I have used at this price point. Hardly any warped sheet, no plugs and any knots were so small they were barely noticeable. Performance when cutting was great, no glue pockets to cause inconsistencies in the cuts and the material engraved well too.

Much better quality than i purchased from another seller. So far the sheets i have used are true with no rough edges and the plugs are barely noticable but there is slight warping but i put that down to the thickness and softness of the sheets (3mm) but this can be rectified by glueing 2 sheets together if need be or glueing some supporting strips. I am using the ply for oo gauge modelling and crafts and i find once you cut the ply into smaller pieces the warping disappears. I will definitely purchase this item again in the near future.

This product was bought solely for laser cutting. On the whole it's good plywood, cuts reasonably well and engraves nicely but out of a 50 sheets I have had approximately 6 sheets with small voids in the layers which resulted in very small components breaking.

Cleanly cut and accurately sized. Nice pale birch plywood - sanded and suitable for most craft applications without any further smoothing. Only a small handful of sheets out of 50 had blemishes on both sides. Takes inkjet transfers on film very easily, using PVA adhesive or artists gel as a medium. Easy to seal with water-based polyurethane varnish x 4 coats

I bought this plywood pack for use with my small CNC router with a 5W diode laser module (i.e. not a high power laser cutter). For cutting it's excellent as I was almost completely through after two passes at 80% power! I'm also very impressed by the price for 50 A4 sheets as that's very good for laser-safe ply. It's cut nicely and has very little in the way of blemishes either side. Like the description, and some of the comments, say it isn't completely flat as plywood never is. The amount of bowing was actually quite small (say 2mm max along the 300mm length), and for my pack it was only bowed along one size which helps a lot. I cut the sheets to A5 or A6 for putting in my laser cutter, which left very little bowing making it very effective for cutting. Overall I have to say I'm very impressed :-)

I use these for pyrography, 2nd time of getting these and the product arrived very quickly checked every piece and other than the top one, everyone is perfect, the top wat slightly curved so I've just put that on the bottom and hopefully by the time I come to use it it will be flat again, will definitely purchase again

Fantastic valued product. Granted, some of the sheets have marks or knots, but those sheets can be cut down. Don’t know what they would be like for laser printing as I use a hand held wood burner, but for me they are perfect.

Product arrived and i was dissapointed with the quality of this wood, it has been cut opposite to the picture with the grain going downwards and not accross (as in picture), the edges of some are rough sawn and chipped, the plugs were visible on both faces on some pieces also some panels are very grainy (flecks of dark wood visble), not a clean face grain pattern, this distracts in some of the work i use it for so i will have to grade this as i go along. I have used this company before either as Daisy Moon or Laser Ply without any issues, but the quality of product recently has gone down hill. If i wasnt in such a rush to get it i would have returned it without hesitation, but my needs were great at this time, but I would think carefully before ordering again as i prefer my wood with the grain across not down as the wood has more strength cut that way, cut downward means it has more flex in it and warps easier i have found.
