A must have for any knitter
I don't know why I took so long to invest in one of these counters. Actually I do, I was being frugal and was also put off some of the other brands due to the negative reviews. Anyway, I love this counter - especially the lock function. The counter is practical, reasonably sturdy, brightly-coloured which is great when you're looking for it in your kit. This counter is lightweight, small, fits nicely in one hand, and the switches especially the top button seemed to be designed for easy use with one hand. For years I've used the tally method to keep track of rows and rounds, and now I'm saving so much time with this counter, particularly during "TV knitting". I'm glad it's not a digital counter. It doesn't require any power sources, or fussing around. The numbers are clear to read, the clicks are not annoyingly loud, and it is well-made. I should have bought one sooner, and I would recommend this to any knitter.

Very useful little gadget
I got so fed up of losing where I was in a pattern before I bought this. Easy just to remember to turn dial once you've finished a row and lock it off. It will fit on your average knitting needle but I found that more awkward. It does a good job though in holding stitches secure when you're putting knitting down. Has a loop so you could put a ribbon etc through it and have it round your neck. I just have mine on my knee. Bright enough to easily see where it is in your bag.

Clover Knitting Counter ..
I absolutely LOVE this product that I bought 2, one for me and one for my 13 year old daughter. I wanted a counter to keep track of the many rows I was knitting for a baby blanket. Its very easy to use, click on the top of the frog's head every time you finish a row. And there is locking switch on the side which you can lock so as to prevent the clicker from accidental changing numbers. Also you can attached a length of wool to the bottom of the frog and tie it around your neck for ease of use. Great little gadget, very useful, fun looking, and an absolute must for knitters!

Works well, easy to use but expensive
Good counter albeit quite a loud click. I find it to be quite expensive for what it is, but it works well.

Clover knitting counter
Great bit of kit. Easy to operate. The numbers turn easily. The lock works. Bit more expensive than some others. Having experience of cheaper ones, these ones are worth the extra. For the cost, I would have liked to see a nice neat lanyard loop on it.

Great item
I brought this to count lengths in the swimming pool, I attended a piece of elastic to it and had to around my wrist. Easy to use and reset and worked well. Not what it was designed for but did the job for my charity swim

Good value and useful
Much better than finished writing rows etc on a pad, this is the second Clover item I have purchased, they are the best I have ever used.

Perfect little gadget
I was impressed with this to begin with, even more so now I've tried one of the cheap and nasty KnitPro counters. This little thing does everything you want it to - clear display, good firm button to press without being stiff, the lock function is very secure and holds the dials in place, and the turning wheels to reset each counter work very nicely and are easy under the fingers. Some reviewers have pointed out a lack of an included cord but we all have enough yarn around to make a cord ourselves, oddly enough.. I wish they'd make it in more than one colour but that's a minor quibble. Indispensible.

Nice counter that does its job.Light so posdible to hang around your neck. If I could wish for something it would be that they would make them with three numbers.
