Review: Kept my lens safe from dog - The day I brought my lens I out this uv filter on it and I was at the beach and this great big pit bull wasn’t on a leash and it jumped at me and my camera, sand a slobber everywhere but the filter took the worst of it and this filter saved my camera from the full force of a pit bull dog, it was enough to send my camera which was on a tripod and me flying backwards in to the sand and I just replaced the filter with another one of these as it did suck a good job at protecting my prime lens. I was one of those people that thought I didn’t need a filter but my friend convinced me and it’s a good job she did because it saved me lens from impact, sand and dogs drool. It’s good quality and worth the money in my opinion ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect to just throw on the end for protection *by I***N on 8 June 2020* I'm not going to review the image quality or speculate about the performance. This for me was a cheap and quick way to protect the end of a £100 lens. The filter came well packed and secure, dust and mark free. A quick wipe and it was fitted to the lens, visually it makes the lens look a bit nicer, but more importantly it protects the end of the lens from any dust, sand or small fingers! As i said, i'm not going to go over the image quality, it's a small 49mm filter, for me it's covering the end of a Canon nifty 50, and at £100 for the lens it does exactly what's needed. It's not like my other 77mm jobs the the L series glass!
