Festool Folding Rule

Very poor quality. Paint, and markings started flaking off after a week.. and most of that was spend on my desk.

1 week and it broke

Not what you would expect from festool, numbers wore out within a month, 3month down the line don't even use it, looking for a real wood alternative , think lease are made of MDF , overall not please at all, waste of money,

Printed wrong way round and repeated on both sides often you are measuring against a flat surface so it would make good sense to start from '1' on the inside - that way you can lay the rule down flat whist measuring (rather than have it floating an inch above the surface) major major flaw.

Broke when I opened it. Probably made in China avoid it

Very uncomfortable to use especially if you want to draw a straight line. And be careful when folding it might snap easily

Excellent quality folding rule - stays erect (ooh er missus) when fully expanded unlike some and seems very accurate and consistent. Lightweight - made from some kind of painted wood. The click open close on each joint is slightly sprung loaded and snaps into place in a satisfying way. There is even a crude but usable protractor on the first link - plus the ruler is flip-reversable which is very handy. The only downside is that I cant stop fiddling with it - you can make some lovely star shapes and what not with it - be creative!

I wont be without a folding rule, great accompaniment to a tape measure and often more useful. The festool product is light and initially pleasing but the fancy paint job began chipping badly after a couple of days of use. Wiha make a very useful plastic model....which seems far superior imho.

Maybe the best of its kind

Ad essere sincero preso più per avere qualcosa di Festool visto che tutti ne parlano che altro... e dato che mi serviva un metro a stecca ho approfittato dell'occasione... Diciamo subito che l'ho pagato 6.50€ altrimenti non l'avrei preso, quindi a ben vedere poco sopra un metro che si può trovare nei vari brico dato che costano (quelli economici) sui 3-4€... Premesso questo, la qualità c'è e si vede... a quel prezzo vale davvero e forse anche qualcosa in più... davvero soddisfatto dell'acquisto. i Numeri e le tacche si leggono distintamente e alle estremità c'è un piccolo bordo in metallo che ripara dalle scheggiature... Concludo dicendo che alla fine per me è stato uno sfizio dato che ho già (di altre marche) flessometro da 5mt, stecca lunga da 1 mt e piccola riga in metallo da 20cm, senza contare le varie squadre ... ma ne vale davvero

Great price and surprisingly good quality! Really happy with the Festool folding rule! Great quality. Definitely one of the best materials totally worth it! Great visibility, very accurate, perfect size, easy to cary around. Very functional for different type of measurements

Sharply printed. Looks to be good quality especially for price.
