It is heavy duty. It is small but my dog is 25 pounds and a days worth of farmers dog is perfect. It also really slows him down eating. He is also subject to tear stains so the stainless should help.

This is a good quality bowl and seems durable. It is stainless steel and easy to clean. The grooves could be a bit deeper to slow my dog more. I appreciate the rounded edges for safety.

We had another stainless steel slow eating bowl for our Doberman mix who thinks he’s in a food eating contest every time we feed him (despite the fact that he gets two full meals/day plus tons of snacks/Kongs every day). The other bowl worked fine (it was what I describe as a “donut bowl” - raised in the middle) but it didn’t have anything on the backside of it to grip the floor and would slide around and drive us all nuts. This bowl is much better in my opinion because it sort of has “nooks & crannies” that he has to work around to eat. It’s also shallower which is easier to mix his wet and dry food in and most importantly, it has silicone grippy material on the back side so it doesn’t slide and bang around on the tile floor. It’s way easier to clean and is even dishwasher safe! It appears to be solidly built and in the month or so that we’ve used it (2x/day) it still looks brand new. I would recommend this to anyone looking to slow down a canine who is a speed eater.

I like bowls I can put in the dishwasher to clean, because let's be honest our pups deserve clean dishes too! I can toss it in the dishwasher and it cleans up like new. It does work for slower feeding with our puppy (I think she was group feed so she was gobble everything in a second before this) The only two cons which other reviews mentioned is it sliding around I do wish it had some kind of base to help prevent that and I wish it was slightly deeper as she grows her feeding portions will change and it does hold 1.5 cups, however, as he follows the bowl around when it slides some gets knocked out. (Yes I have tried gripping pad under it but I guess because it is not super heavy that just doesn't work well)

I bought it for my German Shepherd pup. she seats 1 ¹/² cup servings and it's fits perfectly without over flow. it's light weight and slows down her eating a lot. still slides a little on concrete if you have a persistent dog.

Great quality, with anti-slip rubber on the back, for two or even three cups serving. I bought this bowl for my 12 kg Frenchie and it's very practical to use. The food also slides out easily as the dog empties it, which helps him not eat too fast.

This has definitely slowed down eating for my Standard poodles. they used to throw up alot because of eating too fast and this was a great problem solver. I got one in each size and they use them both. would buy again.

Good quality, easy to clean! I use these for my large dogs and it’s a perfect portions. Works well for dogs that inhale food. I ordered three of the dog paw print design, unfortunately I got 2 of the other design with the non slip bottom and then one of the paw print so they don’t match like I was going for. Muy buenas bandejas de acero y especiales para perros que sufran ansiedad al comer. Llevaba tiempo buscando unas de metal para evitar plásticos. ¿Si cuidamos de nuestra salud, por qué no igual de la de nuestros perros? El precio es quizás algo elevado, pero también tiene pinta de ser un producto que durará toda la vida al no ser plástico. Tiene el tamaño correcto para mi Bichón y mi Cavalier. Me resultó complicado encontrar algo de similar características y me acabé decantando por este.

Lo compré para un golden retriver que comía muy rápido, ya debe tener 2 años o poco más y se ha mantenido en muy buenas condiciones (a diferencia de los platos de plástico que terminaba mordisqueando y destruyendo). Por el diseño se complica al limpiar, pero justamente para eso es, disminuir la velocidad en que come tu mascota. Ya no tuvo problema al digerir la comida porque funciona muy bien.
