Very good inks. Brother are always decent value. Problems are very rare and quickly sorted.

I mostly print in black and white (and bought the XL size), as that’s what I require mostly. On this occasion I purchased the package with all the colours as well, which are regular in size. I have compared the price for the inks to other sites like Curry PC world, and Tesco (who seem to do a lot of inks, but unfortunately not for the LC123 printer), but this deal worked out best value for money and provided free delivery. You will also notice there’s a lot of cheaper ink options on Amazon but they are not original Brother ink, and I have to admit I was tempted to try the cheaper ones, but I didn’t want to risk messing up my printer or importantly my printer not detecting the ink when I’m running late to a meeting. (It’s not the stress I needed, so I went with the original stuff). I also think the real ink lasts longer in comparison to the fake one (as my friend purchased some cheap ones and they had already finished, printing same amount as me, but our printers were different brands). This makes me think the original ink perhaps uses the ink more efficiently in comparison to the cheaper ones that run out quickly. It may therefore be better off buying the real ink for your printer, if you don’t want to take any risks.

Exactly what you would expect from Brother. Good quality ink.

Arrived promptly in authentic looking untouched Brother packaging with red, yellow, cyan and black. Unfortunately as I only order when the last cartridge runs out it could be a few weeks/months before I actually use the first cartridge so I may have to amend the review at that point. However the last two orders for similar products from Amazon were fine (by similar I mean last time I ordered the 3 colours in one order and the black in a separate order) so I have no reason to think these would be any different quality Annoying that I can't get an invoice - when I click on "invoice" it shows an invoice for a book I bought months later!

Brilliant, prompt service, I can print again

Purchased when original Brother ink cartridges ran out. After fitting the print quality was very poor. Ran the printers own head cleaning program 3 times, and on third time the printing was getting reasonable, but the color inks were now showing empty (definitely empty since you can confirm this by inspecting the cartridge). The original Brother inks were fine, so maybe just bad luck.

The print quality is top notch, however in terms of value the colour cartridges seem only half full while the black shows as full. It is very easy to install and works at the first time. Non recommended ink cartridges often are not recognised by the printer.
