Arrived 3 days earlier then stated, which was nice. once i open the parcel, my dog (Labrador) was immediately interested! probably scented with dognip, if there is such a thing! seriously, this is certainly a large enough bed for my dog, being thick enough to be comfy without being over bulky. don't know how long the cover will last, once its been abused by my dog (lol) but there are 2 covers for it, so you can wash them reg. For the price, the covers are fine, but then nothing lasts forever with a dog. overall, a well priced , good quality product. would I buy it again ? yes would I recomend it to a friend? yes

This bed is great. I have a great dane and he has been so fussy with beds, waking up at 5.30am/6.30am which can be annoying but when I bought this bed for him he initially hated it because it made a funny noise when he walked/sat on it (a breaking in type crinkle sound) but once he realised how comfortable it was he loved it ! He now gets up when I get up as he is so comfortable and that is great for the both of us ! It's a good thickness, the price is fab and it has two cover so you can put a new one on while the other washes. I am very happy with this memory foam bed, it's a brilliant purchase.

I brought this on the 20th April for my large ex racing greyhound. I also purchased the waterproof inner cover and extra outer fleece covers. Four months after buying I am so pleased with it. As the greyhound now sneaks upstairs at night my three English Springers all sleep together on it. The bed is big and the large greyhound spreads himself out on it with room to spare. They all dig the bedding to get comfy but there are no rips in outer cover or in the waterproof cover. The fleece covers have washed very well and have neither shrunk or become thinner.The bed itself has not sagged in the middle and is as thick as when I received it. The waterproof inner cover does not come with it, you need to buy that as an extra but i would recommend getting one as the inner cover that comes with the bed is thin and useless.I would have thought the sellers would be better to sell them together to begin with. I can see that there are a few people that have complained about the quality but I can honestly say that I am really happy with the bed I received and I would not hesitate to buy another when needed. Update - it is now over two years since buying the mattress and it is as good as the day I brought it. Have still got 3 springer and a greyhound that use it. Still no sagging or rips anywhere. Waterproof cover is still as new. Outer cover has been washed and tumble dried loads of times and is still great and the Velcro as new.

I have bought the extra large version of this dog bed. I have a Lab so its plenty big enough for him and like having his own king-size bed. I also have a new sofa and want to persuade my dog to use a dog bed instead. So far, he seems happy on it. Unlike some beds, it is thick enough and the quality of the filling is good, so that it supports his weight and isnt feeling the hard floor. The cover is removable and washable, is soft on top and waterproof so he can lie on it even if he is damp after walks. Plus there is a spare one included in the price. There is quite a lot of rustling sounds from the filling and fabric when he lies on it but that isn't a major issue. A really good value bed!

Amazing for the price. I have a German Shepherd and often find it hard finding a bed that's more than big enough, comfy, waterproof, washable & cheap and this is all of the above! It's much thicker than i would of expected for the price so that was a nice surprise. It arrived yesterday and was I laid on it with my german shepherd and there was still a bit of room. I got another one for my other german shepherd and the medium for my cocker spaniel.

This bed is amazing I have 2 spaniels and they both share this bed with plenty of room to spare. The only downside about it is, its too big but that was my error in not measuring the space it was to fit in. Fantastic value for money and the covers wash great. The foam is covered with a waterproof cover and seems to be very hard wearing - we've had it now for about 6 months and its not burst. I would definitely buy this again.

This is very, very big. Plenty of room for two greyhounds. It is longer than the bed in the photo, looking more like single mattress size. Not had it long enough to be able to say what kind of wear and tear it will take. The major downside for me was the noise. When a dog moves about on the bed, or if you walk on it, it makes a loud squeaking sound - very like someone crunching through snow. Not great as it was intended for our bedroom and the noise is so loud it woke me up! I resolved this problem by removing the inner cover, which is like a thin plasticky paper. Inside this were several bits of badly glued together foam. Have put this back in the outer cover and covered the whole lot with a couple of duvets. It does the job for now.
