It was beautiful when I first bought it. It was cute and fluffy. But then I washed it and now it isn't fluffy like it was. I dont know if that was my fault but I just want to warn others that it goes flat after washing so be careful.

I have been a fan of the Harry Potter series since I was around 8 or 9 years old. Around that same time I took a quiz to see which of the Four Houses of Hogwarts I belonged in, I was deemed a Slytherin, and I have always been proud of it. It actually surprises me it took me so long to get around to purchasing this scarf, but no sense dwelling on that. This scarf is amazing, I actually waited until well after the end of my first winter after purchasing it to write this review so I could at least give it a good "trial run" so to speak. This scarf is comfortable, warm, fashionable, and very well made, it sure does my house proud, I'll tell you that for free! This is a must for any Slytherin alumni.

Bought one for myself when Fantastic Beasts came out and wore it to opening night, then bought one for my bf who just got sorted into Hufflepuff too as a Christmas gift! These scarves are great! Soft and warm this scarf definitely serves its function and is not just a piece of fabric for looks. It is a legitimate scarf that will keep you warm when the weathers cold and fits adults just as well as it would fit a kid (though it might be a bit long for a kid, though that shouldn't be too much of a problem considering its a scarf ;). I am 5'4 for reference and it is not too long or short. Although it may be a bit pricier than the other house scarves on here, this one is good quality.

My daughter is a big fan of the book series. After a trip to the HP store in NYC where the scarf she wanted was sold out we went looking for an alternative online. This scar has a good size crest and is great for winter wear or for a costume. Overall for the price I thought it was great and she loves it. The only negative has to do more with Amazon shipping than the product. The packaging has a fun message written on it as if it is being delivered to Harry. It’s the kind of thing that a young Potter fan might want to keep, but Amazon stuck a huge mailing label over it without any additional packaging. Removing the label was a challenge and so far it has been nearly impossible to remove the glue residue without removing the text…Oh well. It was a nice touch from the company that made the product but the overall product experience was sort of soiled by Amazon’s careless shipping approach with no overpack.
