This excellent device was bought to link an ageing TV with a stereo set. It worked immediately out of the box and the sound is great, only requiring one adjustment to the TV sound setup (switch to PCM as advised in the LiNKFOR instructions to eliminate noise interference). It replaced a Bluetooth link between TV and stereo which had lip-sync issues and temperamental connection; the DAC converter lip-sync is spot-on and the connection is live as soon as the TV and stereo are switched on. A super buy.

Does everything it says on the box

Finally I can push music and sound from TV to old hi-fi stereo system and feel the bass!!!! - new TV's and new technologies are a head cos they miss out good old reliable only tech like basic aux outputs! This does the job well. Works well, although on tare occasions the sound is out of sync but only by maybe a few micro seconds.

Great bit of inexpensive kit. Took less than ten mins to set up and definitely an improvement in the clarity of audio to what was a bluetooth connection prior. USB mains cable supplied to power from converter block to A USB SLOT in the back of your tv.

A great purchase easy to set up through my television and amplifier the sound from my speakers is fantastic definitely recommend

I bought this DAC to be able to output audio from my TV to a Sonos Port which, in turn, allows that audio to be heard in other rooms on Sonos speakers. The DAC does this job very well so I would be posting a 5 star review. Except… When I first connected the equipment I got no output. Initially, I decided the equipment didn’t work (not necessarily faulty as the problem might have lain with my other equipment). Fortunately, I decided to try another optical cable (I had a couple hanging around). With my old cable the DAC worked and after a little fine tuning with the TV’s synchronisation options it sounds pretty good.

Exactly as described and the sound diff between this and a regale aux lead connector is night and day. Great sound quality.

I have had the same Sony audio receiver from 1996 and it still works perfectly but it doesn't have any digital inputs. My old TV had RCA audio outputs so it was nice to be able to switch over to the big speakers while watching a movie now and then but my new TV doesn't have that and most of the stuff I watch are on the built-in TV app anyway so it's not like the old days where I could get audio out of the DVD player (haven't owned one of them in a long time) so a device like this is really nice to be able to reuse the old trusty amp with the new TV. Just an FYI, you have to turn on PCM on your TV for this to work. I have a Sony Bravia and I had to first change the settings from built in speakers to digital output and then turn on PCM, and then raise the PCM volume on the TV before this worked. It works flawlessly and is affordable and doesn't require any pairing. My only complaint is that it has a round audio cable that goes to USB. I don't know why they didn't just use a standard USB cable.
