The one that I purchased for my daughter was the real thing

I'm mix race but quite light with dark brown hair should I get ebony or dark brown

I have both the dark brown is actually a little darker for me than the ebony strangely enough. If you have a red tone in your hair dark brown is better, if your hair is flat dark ebony is the one for you. Hope that helps. It does tend to dry out a bit after a month so I use inglots duraline oil a drop now and again helps restore it. Natalie
