This is the best version of Grecian formula. Color restoration is quicker and more permanent than any other version, including the US version which uses Lead Acetate. It's listed as a lotion, even though it is a liquid. I hope that this version doesn't go out of production. I used to use the Canadian Creme formula which is no longer available. My Favorite Grecian
I like this version of grecian the best. It is really easy to use. It is effective much quicker than the traditional liquid or the foam. The bottle lasts longer than the foam but not as long as the liquid. The only downside is that the color doesn't last very long. So, more frequent applications are necessary.

Grecian 2000 Works
This product (Grecian 2000) definetly works. My gray hair got darker (black) after a few weeks. I didn't notice any scent and my hair appeared to be thicker and with a better shine. Highly recommend this product.

The value of this product is negative.
This product is a stain that turns darker after a few hours. It leaves brown spots on everything except hair: the sink, the pillows, the towels. My gray hair color is the only thing that it fails to affect at all. And it smells bad. Given a zero effect on hair, the mephitis that will follow you for a couple of hours after the use makes this product worse than nothing.

It does have a medicinal smell, so depending on your surroundings you may want to keep that in mind. It does work well though.

This product did not work as it should!! Applied it for 2 weeks and had no results at all, no grey cover at all . Have used it in the past and should start to work in a week! Waste of money.
