Brilliant coverage of colour
I used this to dye my very faded caravan curtains. The product was easy to use even though instructions were a bit vague. I just weighed the curtains, wet them in my sink, popped them in the washing machine and added the dye. Washed on a 30 degree wash then washed again after as normal. The colour was brilliant and has taken very well to these heavy draylon curtains. Do not overload the fabric weight if you want a dark colour. The colour came out perfectly for me, nice and even coverage. I’ve since brought again in Black for my hand towels and again I’ve had a good depth of even coverage. Just be sure that when you do your next ordinary wash that you do a dark wash as there is a possibility of small residue dye left behind, in other words do not do a white wash after!!

Love this shade
My living room is silver and grey with splashes of red. I have used this dye on cotton based throws and cushions to unify the reds. This works a treat. The reds can be darker or lighter depending on the original colour but not jarring. It's so easy to use. It can fade with regular washing but I just dye it again. I don't know why but the process seems to rejuvenate the fabric too. I have ten year old throws that still look good after three dyeing sessions.

My experience
Great dye. Did come late but not too much of an issue and the seller was very keen to help me sort it out and find where it was. Definitely will use again.

Brilliant result.
This was brilliant. I dyed a very pale blue linen dress that looked washed out and showed all my underwear, but was still a lovely well made dress. So easy in the machine, and it took perfectly. I can't tell you how many compliments I've had about the dress since dying it red, it's totally improved it. I have had no issues with colour leaking into subsequent washes, although I think I hand washed it the first time just to be safe. I'm really chuffed with the end result. I've not dyed anything for years, and now I'm going through my whole wardrobe hunting out stuff lurking at the back that I can dye !!

Great way to colour clothes.
This is just what I was looking for. I needed to change the colour of a pair of capri trousers. They came up really well. Although t might be handy to have the instructions in English as they are only in German and French only, so had to Google the instructions •

Never Again! Dye runs even after multiple rinsing.
The instructions were in French and German but no English so I had to look them up online - but this is probably down to the seller's supply chain. It seemed simple enough; pop item to be dyed in the washing machine, add Dylon contents (no need to add salt), put on a long wash at 40 degrees. The trousers I was dyeing were red and were to be re-dyed the same colour (they had faded over time). The trousers came out well dyed but I immediately noticed the red dye coming off on my hands. I rinsed at least five times in cold water in the sink but still the dye was pouring out, at which point I gave up and made a mental note not to sit down in them on my cream sofa! Then I put my machine on an empty wash at 40 degrees as per instructions. After this had finished, there was so much red dye still around the rubber seal and door that it took me half an hour to clean off and then I needed to put the machine on another empty wash again. I can't imagine being able to wash my whites again for at least another half a dozen washes. Not impressed. I shall use the old fashioned tried and tested method next time of a hand-wash dye and bucket.

Good colour but depends on the fabric too..
Colour was good & strong, but had colour issue (was aware that this could happen depending on fabric type) but a bit surprised as I was trying to turn navy into purple using this red dye. It worked well on one fabric but not on another similar one; also the instructions only in european languages not english so had to look it up again on the internet how to use it, as this packaged type does already include salt, a bit confusing.

It works amazing!
I intend to give a new look to my old Khaki coat I bought 2 years ago and it works so well!! It is exactly the red color tone I wanted and it is so easy to use. I just throw my damp coat with the dye into the drum of my washer and press the wash button in a 40'C mode. Simple and effective. I will definitely buy it again for dying other things.
