Apple Studio Display - Standard glass - Tilt- and height-adjustable stand ​​​​​​​ (2022)

If you own a Macbook, just get this screen - it's fantastic! Speakers, a camera, and the USB-C ports at the back act like a hub for all your kit, of course the monitor will also charge anything plugged into it. Not tried it with a Windows machine, but it's noted that functionality will be different, that said this is a fantastic display. Unless you are doing movie style editing, this screen is more than adequate for normal use, it runs rings around the gaming display I was using previously. It is also light, so if you want to mount this, its easy - just make sure you get the vesa version!

The Apple Studio display is an excellent quality display. Would absolutely recommend for those who are already using the Apple ecosystem and needing to use a good quality display for creative work. I am using as an extended display for music production using Logic Pro and it is great for extended avoiding eye strain.

I’d wanted one of these screens for a long time. Originally I bought the tilt only version but felt having it on a stand made the desk look cluttered. Switched for the height and tilt version and so glad I did. It may cost slightly more, but it makes such a difference. The screen itself is sharp, bright and sleek. Highly recommend!

What can I say, it’s Apple so you know it’s good.I was fed up of having to plug lots of things into my MacBook Pro when I got to the office and I looked at this as it had 4 USB-C ports and meant only one cable had to be plugged in the Mac.It worked great, I now have everything plugged into the monitors USB ports and when I get to work all I have to do is plug one cable into my Mac and I like that it also charges my Mac at the same time!It also keeps my desk clutter free just needing 1 thing plugged into the wall for power and no more hunting for cables.The screen image is great and clear and perfect for the office and doing graphic design/ video work.Speakers sound great too and when on teams calls others can hear my clearly.Camera works good from the calls I have been on although many people on calls have found it funny that the camera tracks my head movements but works great when another person pops into the frame for the call.I know many comment on the price, but again it’s Apple, if price is a problem for you then Apple is just not the right product for you to even own.Bottom line, if you want a monitor that means you can just have everything plugged into the back or it and one single cable connected to your Mac without the need for extra power cables and stuff, this will be great. If you also want the same audio quality and mics as on your Mac this will be great.I find for me the colour is good and I don’t have issues with the darkness of blacks, it’s also slim and fits will on a desk without taking up much room.It comes with the top of the line braided thunderbolt cable to connect to your Mac for power etc. and that leaves 3 USB-C ports for other things, but if you need more ports depending on Mac model you will have free ones on there now too.

The screen is simply perfect. Excellent colours and contrast, much better than many ultra expensive monitors with better characteristics. Excellent quality for any kind of writing, text, administration, photo-retouching, layouts etc. Video streaming is good but depends what quality you are watching. if you have a 4k 5k 8k screen but the input is low quality, the image will never be good enough, so why spend over £4000+ unless you are a printer or in high-end publishing.The screen has zero reflections, and it is a pure pleasure the work with it every day. The screen comes with a mind-blowing sound quality that is even better than my BOSE speakers. The videocamera we never use. We heard it's not that good, but again you buy a screen to work with and not for video chatting, and selfies. You have an iPhone for that.As a plus (although it might not mean much to some people) aesthetically the design and the craftsmanship is spotless. This Apple screen is in solid metal, and stands firm on a table without any wobbling, like many ultra expensive monitors that are made in 100% cheap plastic.

If you are into editing, this is the monitor for you, it won't necessarily come cheap but is gonna give you the best result possible. The 5K resolution is amazing, you don't need to mess with RGB or silly modes to match your MacBook. One cable will sort out all of your problems.

Great monitor - albeit expensive. Using it to hook up my MBP and that works perfectly. Suffice to say, it’s extremely well built and should be for the cost. The hinge of the tilt adjustment is nice and smooth. The speakers are better than most, although for music, I’d generally use my headphones, or hifi, but for films and series, the sound is pretty good.The standard glass is a lot less reflective than I anticipated, so a great bonus there. The panel itself is nice and crisp. The blacks are pretty decent considering it’s an ips. All in all I’m glad I made the splurge.

Apple - Expensive beautifully engineered and functional. Unlike android and the dismal Microsoft offerings ( I also have a glitchy Surface); Apple products just work faultlessly and if you get an issue with them in any way… you get a human being who speaks your language to give support and stick with you until any issue is resolved.This screen is beautiful …. It’s a very competent solution but if you’re not already in the Apple ecosystem then there are much much cheaper options out there. The only think that lets this down is the ability to only plug in one source at a time and the terrible quality of the integrated web cam. Seriously Apple ? The camera quality is really not good but… I bought this for the screen and everything else in my home is Apple so …. I am entrapped by the brand 🤷🏻‍♂️
