Q: Could you advise the maxium the waist size is.

I'm a 42" waist and it was a fairly tight fit for me, but I would strongly advise against buying this as there's no strength to it... Beware!

Can’t help I’m afraid as I have no idea of the size of a kobo arc 7, I only use the pouch to carry bits when walking my dogs, sorry .

Yes you can buy an extension belt. It will give you an extra 8 ish inches.

Q: is good quality this one?

I would say this is a good quality bag. Mine is a year old and I have used it daily when dog-walking. I carry a phone, poo bags, small bag of treats, small pack of tissues and spare fold up spectacles. It has been used in all weathers and on holidays or outings with our dogs so in addition to the above items, I carry my purse (approx 11cm x 8cm) including credit cards, folding money and coins and of course my car keys and fob, and this bag has never let me down whether on beaches or walking hills. The zips are still fine and work well and the waist clasp is still strong even though I sometimes suspend a small camera from the waist band, though it does become a bit bulky with all that lot. My only other comment is that you should not carry sharp or rough cornered objects because the divisions between the compartments are material and not leather, having said that I have never had a problem. Hope this helps in your decision.
