ProTan 50XX Instantly Black DHA Bronzing Lotion, Ultra Black 250 ml

I’ve used a few pro tan products in past and I’ve not had a tanning session since pre my last holiday last sept, and I need to build up my tan again pre summer ( we live in hope). So after searching a lot of tanning lotions & reading all the reviews ( I don’t do tingle factors stuff) I took ages deciding but landed on this as used it in past. It arrived undamaged all good. I used it today, it came out of the bottle fairly easily without having to shuffle the bottle like a bottle of tomato sauce! I only put a light streak up my arms & legs that I could rub in quite easily. I only applied a light touch to my face and although it’s quite dark when it comes out the bottle, it rubs in even, no streaks, and doesn’t smell of anything much tbh and it’s certainly not unpleasant. I was conscious of the colour and it didn’t really stain my hands to be honest but I washed them thoroughly straight away and there were no stains on my bathroom hand towel (result). It didn’t leave any marks on my clothing as I was out & about after my tanning session. Pro Tan do deliver on the fast acting on the tan and it’s why I went back to it. I’ll save myself trawling copious amount of different brands and stick to this from now on. I totally recommend!

Lovely smell and easy to apply

Love the scent of this cream, and goes on smoothly. I didn’t realise that this also contains tanning pigment, which can go a bit streaky, so use a body lotion first. As a tanning accelerator, it works well though

I've tried plenty of sunbed creams over the years, most of them advertise "advanced tanning" but I never saw the results I wanted or expected. I kept my watch on for the first use of this and I was blown away by how dark I appeared after just 6 minutes, my tan line was unreal! The colour is deep and natural, but it's not too intense and builds nice over a few sessions. I get what the other reviews are saying about it being "patchy", but that's just the lotion drying onto your skin.. a little goes a long way so don't go painting yourself with this, and as long as you've covered the area the product will do its job. Make sure you wear old clothes for afterwards as it does leave brown marks on them (which do wash out), and I tend to shower straight after a sunbed anyway which washes it all off and leaves your skin feeling amazing. I recently purchased a different brand to change things up and was severely disappointed, will not be looking elsewhere again.

Great product, repeat buyer, suits my sensitive skin. Thick cream that spreads nicely… I use disposable gloves to apply as it colours your hands

Great bronzing , has tint in it

Really dark in colour looks like fake tan also transfers on to hands and maybe clothes like fake tan. Does wash off. takes a while to rub in or blend in even as its so thick and if not done properly looks streaky. You only have a few mins before sunbed to get undressed and apply cream in most salons. Does make you darker after use, smells pleasant but not as good as others. I will continue to use others from this brand like hot tottie and incredibly black, I just would not buy this particular one again

This smells nice. Easy to put on and allows you to tan lovely. Even for us fair people

lotion is quite thick but it does blend fairly even. I don’t notice any streaks after tanning and it gives you a nice bronze colour. it is very dark though so it almost looks like you’re applying fake tan as you put it on. I recommend using wipes on your hands after applying although I’m not sure if it’ll stain your fingers/nails, I wouldn’t chance it.

I used this product first time in tanning bed, it had my skin looking darker and didn’t leave my skin red. Perfect for using prior to events. Smells good to. Highly recommend.
