The ones supplied are excellent but i want that little extra detail at the front of my property.** A: I would contact manufacturers as they have further products. ie cameras with sound, zoom etc. **Q: Will this system automatically continue working after there is a power cut, or is someone required to press some buttons manually?** A: It does continue as normal after about one minute **Q: Is the camera supposed to be waterproof? Because rain has actually seeped through the camera and now the cctv footage is blurry** A: As far as I am aware there is a correct way to mount the camera which makes it weather resistant not waterproof. I have one of my cameras outside and in direct path of rain with no issues. **Q: What is the diameter of the dome cameras** A: It is around 8cm. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 15 July 2026* I’ve been really impressed with this CCTV system. The cameras produce sharp, clear 3K footage during the day, and the colour night vision is much better than I expected, making it easier to identify people and vehicles after dark. The full metal camera housings feel solid and well made, and the 1TB hard drive provides plenty of space for continuous recording. The human and vehicle detection helps reduce unnecessary alerts, and the remote access through the app lets me check my property from anywhere. Overall, this is an excellent security system that offers great value for the money, with reliable performance and easy installation. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All-metal construction is very durable *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 2 September 2026* We've always used wireless cameras in our front garden, but with the wind and rain we get here in the UK, the signal is always patchy—especially at night when I want to watch the footage back, it's always terribly laggy. This time I've decided to switch to a wired AHD system, and I've set my sights on this model with its all-metal casing—and it certainly hasn't let me down. What I'm most pleased with is the colour night vision. There are no streetlights in my back garden, so previously it was all black and white once night fell. Now, this camera actually produces colour footage in pitch darkness; you can clearly make out the colours of clothing and the outlines of objects, making it much easier to identify people. What's more, the dual-light illumination is very smart—as soon as it detects a human silhouette, the camera automatically turns on its light and switches the recording to full-colour mode. This feature really does act as a deterrent and is far more practical than standard infrared alone.Furthermore, the wired connection has virtually zero latency; the live feed is smooth and real-time, and playback is seamless too. I no longer have to worry about Wi-Fi disconnections causing me to miss crucial footage. Overall, given the build quality and performance you get at this price point, I think it's excellent value for money. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to avoid the hassle of wireless set-ups and is looking for durability and effective night vision. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Terrible instruction manual, NOT super HD! Change of name from Kare? *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 July 2017* I purchased this set-up to replace my 18 month old Sannce camera system. The pictures will give you an idea of the Sannce quality compared to the Kare quality The picture definition is somewhat better; But certainly not super HD as advertised. I do however like the much wider aspect view. You can certainly see the improvement after fitting the Kare camera in the same place as the Sannce camera in the first two images. The third picture shows general quality which for the cost is very acceptable. One word of advice is to make sure your monitor is capable of a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. I adjusted the DVR output and it locked me out because my old monitor wasn't capable of processing the higher resolution input. Sun who works at company who supplied the camera and DVR was very helpful and patient with me. Many thanks. What I did was rig up my main PC monitor which was of the full 1920x1080 which allowed me to lower the output back to default setting.I have since then purchased and received a 22" 'A' quality Asus previously used monitor for £43 all in. Perfect for the job! Im now awaiting a HDMI connector cable which I hope will further improve picture quality.Im going to use my old DVR to set up as a birdhouse monitor. The old dome cameras are quite small once the casing is removed. The problem is to find a way of breaking the glue seal on the lens focusing adjustment ring. This year out of 8 blue tit chicks only one was left. My existing birdhouse camera doesnt have a record facility so I dont know what happened to them.Update: having learned more about CCTV set-ups, there are things that you should bear in mind before ordering. Firstly, you get what you pay for. The playback quality is not that good on this set. If you want crisp playback make sure the cameras are 1080p NOT 1080n or 960p!Also check that the PVR records and plays back in 1080p quality. 15fpm is OK. Finally, you will need a 1960x1080 monitor. Anything lower will lock the playback screen. You will then need a 1960X1080 monitor to unlock the system. I’m ditching this 960p kit and buying a better one for just over a £120 more. Oh, and you will also benefit from 2tb storage if you do upgrade. The higher the playback quality, the more storage space it gobbles up. ## Frequently Bought Together - SANSCO HD CCTV Security Camera System, 8 Channel 5MP DVR with (4) 3K In/Outdoor Dome Surveillance Cameras, 1TB Hard Drive (Vandal-Proof, Continuous/Motion Recording, Rapid USB Backup, Remote Access) - ANNKE 4 Pack 30M/100ft All-in-One BNC Video Power Cables, BNC Extension Surveillance Camera Cables for CCTV Security DVR System Installation, 8 x BNC Connectors and 100pcs Cable Clips Included - 6 x CCTV Signs Self Adhesive 100mm x 75mm Suitable for Outdoor Use --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/48078479-sansco-all-metal-housing-8-channel-wired-cctv-camera-system](https://www.desertcart.is/products/48078479-sansco-all-metal-housing-8-channel-wired-cctv-camera-system) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
