When I received the product expiry date was within 2 months. Actual product lifespan was at least 2 year and I couldn’t completely utilise the product within 2 months. A complete waste of money.

This is an excellent shampoo for treated hair. According to the product page, it is paraben-free and sulfate-free. Parabens are preservatives which extend the shelf life of shampoo, but also adversely affect many hair treatments (such as chemical straightening). Sulfates are a type of cleansing agent that can break down the keratin in hair treatments. I headlined this shampoo as “no-nonsense” because it won’t immediately impress you with exotic fragrances or anything else out of the ordinary. The fragrance is extremely mild (just a light, clean “soap” smell) and the consistency is similar to any other quality shampoo. However, it cleans gently but thoroughly, leaving my hair feeling clean and smooth, but not stripped or dried out. If you’re looking for a fancy-smelling, “salon” experience, this shampoo isn’t for you, but if you want a simple, effective shampoo for treated hair, I would highly recommend this. According to the bottle, the product is made in Brazil (which explains why the barely legible instructions are in English, Spanish and Portuguese), but assuming I am correctly interpreting the two dates printed on the back, the product I received (in March 2025) was manufactured in October 2024 and has a two-year shelf life (i.e., until October 2026). As for value, the price ($34.99 at time of order) for a 33.6 oz. bottle seems very reasonable for the high quality. (I have used shampoos with similar ingredients and claims which cost at least the same price for a 6-8 oz. bottle!) 5 stars.

Even though it says it is, twice on their listing, there’s definitely sulfate included in the ingredients. I got the shampoo because it stated that it was sulfate free, and I am trying to protect my old, white, fragile, gray hair and this will definitely not help! I feel bad about giving it only one star because it smells nice, lathers really well (which proves there’s sulfate in it) and it left my hair sleek and silky. But unfortunately, I just can’t do sulfates anymore. I’m really disappointed that they advertised it sulfates free when it does indeed have sulfates.

This shampoo has a neutral, clean scent. Nothing strong or heavy which is a plus for me! It's not super-duper lathery comapred to other shampoos I have which can be a good thing. I do feel I have to use a bit more but I have thick, coarse hair. Seems to be a good value given the size you get compared to other brands.
