Compeed Cold Sore Patches for Fast Healing, Hydrocolloid, Pack of 15

These patches are a godsend! I've noticed that my cold sores heal a bit more quickly and easily when I use the patches, and now choose them over using acyclovir cream. Having the cold sore covered also gives me huge peace of mind, as the patch provides an extra layer of protection in terms of preventing the spreading of the cold sores to other parts of my lip- or passing this horrible virus on to others. I find that the patches stay put quite well, although if I'm eating a meal or drinking frequently they tend to come loose. But when I'm just eating a small snack like a biscuit or something, and just taking small sips of a drink, they stay on pretty well. On the downside they can be fiddly to apply, and I have wasted many patches over the years due to applications going wrong! And even though they're quite discreet I wouldn't say they're invisible- but then neither is a blob of cream on your lip! At the end of the day there's no perfect formula for managing and getting rid of cold sores- but this is one of the better methods in my opinion. Overall I'd recommend this product to anyone suffering from cold sores. The patches have been a game-changer for me and made outbreaks slightly shorter and more bearable. I also think they're good value for money.

I bought the Compeed Hydrocolloid Cold Sore Treatment Patches as I wanted something more discreet than traditional creams, and I've been really impressed with how well they work. The patches are thin, comfortable to wear and much less noticeable than I expected, making them ideal for wearing during the day. They are easy to apply, especially with the included applicator, and they stay securely in place for a good amount of time. The patch creates a protective barrier that helps shield the cold sore from water, bacteria and everyday contact, while also reducing the temptation to touch the area while it heals. I also like that they can be worn under normal circumstances without constantly having to reapply cream. They provide peace of mind when eating, drinking or going about daily activities, and they help the area feel more protected while it recovers. Overall, these patches are a convenient and discreet solution for managing cold sores. They are simple to use, comfortable and effective at protecting the affected area. I would definitely keep a pack handy for when needed.

I think these Patches are amazing and well worth the money. They prevent soreness, itching and scabbing and certainly Heal the sore a lot quicker than cream. They can cover the unsightly sore and can also be covered with make up. The only problem I found was it left marking from the Cold sore on the Skin after Healing which again can be covered with concealer but this does eventually fade. A problem I found was that sometimes the Patch would not connect to the Skin of contact having to pick it of the strip and sometimes getting wasted also I applied the Patch on first onset but it still developed, however still very good and wouldn’t be without them now.

These patches were helpful in managing my cold sores and made a noticeable difference while they were in use. The patch turns white as it works, which makes it quite noticeable during the day, but this isn’t an issue overnight and allows it to do its job undisturbed. They provided good protection and helped shield the area while healing. One thing to be aware of is removal, it can be a little uncomfortable if you’re not gentle, so taking care when peeling it off definitely helps. Overall, they were effective for me, easy to use, and something I would buy again.

It takes a lot for me to write a review usually however I need to comment on how effective these have been for me! I only get coldsores probably twice per year, every 6 months. Usually, I have a coldsore for a good 2 weeks before fully healing. I am not exaggerating when I say I have used these patches for 4 days and it’s nearly gone already! It has stopped me picking at it, it took the blister down the day after first use and it has stopped any irritation I would usually get. It also prevents the coldsore from scabbing so it heals it so much more hygienically and discretely and again, preventing picking at it. It feels funny on first use but after a few days, you get used to it and forget it’s even on. I found them quite easy to apply, you just have to press around the sides before peeling the rest of the tab off and then it sticks. The size of the patch could be a little bit smaller as I found I had to slightly stick it under my bottom lip to prevent the patch from being in my mouth where it may have not stuck for as long after drinking and eating. But this didn’t impact anything really as it was still subtle and when I did drink and eat, the patch stayed on. I am never going back to using creams again and will be buying these again in future!

These always work for me and are a life saver when a nasty cold sore decides to appear. They stay on well for a long time. Great value for money when buying on Amazon. These are way more expensive in the shops.

These are great and help to cover and heal cold sore, but give up eating and drinking for the duration. I wasted about six of these. I put each one on dry skin, then an hour later had something to eat and drink. They just lift straight off as soon as they get wet. It’s the placement on the curve of the lip that is the problem. Might not be so bad if you have a sore that is further up nearer the nose. Or wear them overnight.

Overall they work well. In my case more effective than zovirax. They reduced the pain significantly for me. You need a little patience to place correctly, and obviously not all cold sores are the same size or in an easy place to stick patch to. Ps better than home brands available elsewhere.

These are the best patch for cold sores. They took a long time to arrive but litteraly the day before a cold sore showed up on my lip. Mine was located at the bottom corner of my lip so it was trickier to put on but still, they did wonders with concealing it AND healing it too! Both my daughter and I get cold sores especially when stressed so we will keep those on hand alongside our prescription cream. I alternated. Don't put cream on before the patch

I would have given it 5 star if I had received the new version of the patch with the new applicator. I ordered two boxes (from Metropharma shipped by Amazon) and one was the new applicator and one was the old version (expiring in 9 months). The old version is horrible - it’s so hard to put on, the sticker stretches so much that once it’s glued it rolls back very quickly. Waste of money! The new version works super well and it’s easy to put on. The course of the blister is still about a week but at least you’re not suffering during that week! It’s quite well explained in the instruction booklet in a diagram. The sticker stays put for even longer than 12 hours. I would highly recommend the new version, but maybe not guaranteed from this seller.
