Son absolutely loves his jack hammer! Easy handle trigger which started the in and out motion of the hammer with 3 sound settings 1.off 2.Sound effects when against the floor 3.Sound effect constant When our 3 year old asked for a jackhammer we thought that would be an impossible find in a toy however this is exactly what he was after. Perfect replica of the real deal and is one of his most played with toys. When thought the price was a little up there for what it is but given the hours of play he has had out of it - worth every penny!

This was a big hit at Christmas for our son, who is a fanatical Mr Bull fan, so was always using every day objects and pretending they were pneumatic drills. I was thrilled to find this toy was an actual thing. From Bosch too, a brand I use frequently when buying my own tools. My son was gobsmacked (which is rare!) when he opened it, even more so when I put batteries in and he realised it actually moved and made sounds! In hindsight I would've kept the battery reveal till post Christmas, as no-one else in the room could hear themselves think because my boy was drilling everything in sight! That said he looked SO happy we just left him to it. Several months on, he uses it less frequently, but still weekly at minimum. We're still on the same set of batteries, though they're slowing up a bit now, so will need replacing soon. Still that's pretty good considering volume of use. You have three power options OFF (the best one!), ON, movement only & ON, movement and sound. The speakers are pretty weak and not that obviously audible over the noise of the movement, so I stick to movement only option, which prolongs battery life. My son is pretty rough with it, but it's still intact, so pretty robust, though dropping from any height will likely mean curtains for it! Quite pricey, which alongside weak speakers and branding fades, removes one star in my opinion. That said, if you have a child who loves construction stuff then they'll love this. It really is very good and EXACTLY what I was looking for. Probably the biggest success for Christmas presents 2021! He's got loads of use out of it, and still brings it out to play. Perhaps purchase alongside some ear defenders, the noise of it drilling away is almost as annoying as the sensation of it being applied against your head! Great toy. Solid four stars.

3year old loves it.

It's really good quality, it's making those little cool drilling sound, my boy loves it. But it's bit small compare to what it showed on picture.
