Sharp light and useful for getting square edges after a board cut - must have for plaster boarding.

Strong tool, leaves wood a bit rough but nothing a bit of sandpaper can't sort out. Very good value.

Although this item has a sturdy metal frame, is easy and comfortable to hold and does the job mine arrived with one drawback from day one. The blade retaining screw would only move a quarter turn and not fully unscrew to release the blade. Whether this is a design flaw or down to poor manafacturing, or both I will never know but I expect better from Stanley.
