Keeping hot tub water in ideal condition can be difficult. However, the Frog system makes it easier than any other method. We have used this product for an entire winter season and have been very pleased. At the start of this season (2025), we began using the remaining product we had from last season. The results were a bit off. So, I reached out to customer service and through several email, we determined a plan of action. The result was they shipped us a completely new set, to get the season started, at NO CHARGE! This is what customer service is all about. While we will have to continue to purchase refills, as we have done in the past, we didn't have to repurchase the entire kit. Next season we know what needs to be done to start the season with terrific water. Thank you to the Frog Team.

Love the frog system. The thing with the FROG, is it is a system all on its own, which I did not know at first. You don't need any other chlorine or shocks. The FROG support number is great too!! Basically, I change the silver half of the ball once a month for my 600-gallon hot tub and change the blue side of the ball every four months. The directions say to dial the silver half to a 4 based on my gallons but once my hot tub was balanced, I have it on a 2 and it keeps the CL levels perfect. I shock the tub with the frog CL shock when I change the blue half of the ball. About every two weeks, I throw in the sanitizer. Only other chemical I need is PH up. Frog system makes keeping the hot tub balanced an easy task!

Easy to use

This takes away some of the complexity of spa water maintenance, but the ease comes at a cost, literally, as it would cost several hundred dollars per year to use the FROG @Ease system. The raw chemicals do not cost this much. You're paying for convenience. As I understand it, the FROG @Ease only maintains chlorine levels. You're still supposed to manually balance other aspects of the water chemistry (Total Alkalinity, PH, Calcium Hardness). Although the kit comes with test strips, these are not very accurate or precise (no test strips are, as far as I can tell). If you're serious about maintaining proper water chemistry, I recommend a more advanced water testing kit such as a Taylor K-2005C. The package arrived coated in a mess of white powder. One of the seams along the edge of the "Jump Start" packet had separated a little, likely due to improper sealing at the factory. It had been spilling long enough that nearly half the contents were outside the packet (but mostly contained in the cardboard retail box and its shrinkwrap). Luckily the packet is for up to 600 gallons and my spa is only 375 gallons, so I didn't necessarily need all of the contents of this packet.

So easy to use and takes the guess work out of chloronating your spa.

We've had it for a few days now and put it in our hot tub that was overdue for a drain. I was shocked that it greatly improved the water quality without even adding the booster.

I love the consistency and ease of this product! It perfectly balances the water and easily shows you when it’s time to change the cartridge. A total no fail! With life always so full of busyness having a spa is great, but not if it costs you even more work in the end... this product solves that problem. Follow the instructions to get your water right and then just check it regularly. I’m hooked. I’ll never go back to the old way of keeping your spa water, healthy again.

We have been using these for 6 years with our bullfrog jacuzzi. They work great

The system works and water is very stable for the whole month. However chlorine is a little higher than I like even at 1 setting. I turn it off and on which does make it last longer and lower chlorine levels but you could leave it for a month at it would be good.

Been a hot tub owner for over 15 year. Thought this would be great for a reduced chemical smell, it's not. Bromine is still a better product.
