Second purchase and equally as impressed
I purchased these earphones, with the longer wire, around 2 years ago and used them 3 times per week for those 2 years. The sound quality was good, but inevitably, as happens with wear and tear on the joining cable became worn and this then reduced the sound quality. I immediately decided to purchase the same brand again as I had such great wear out of the original ones. This time I opted for the short lead and I'm glad I did - much less faffy and no need to tuck the cables under my swim hat - simply slip under the goggle band so keep out of the way. Excellent sound quality, several options for ear plug size and once you get the correct size, they fit well with no movement or water entry. Will be happy to have a further 2 years out of these ones.

Very comfortable and no leaking!
So I’ve been using an underwater audio iPod shuffle with some cheap Chinese headphones for a few years but they would often leak and get muffled. Decided to give these a go even though they were fairly pricey. I would say they are worth the money. Sound is decent, loud and bassy. I opted for the largest ear buds which I have to twist and squeeze to get them right in but the material is nice and soft so there’s zero discomfort. Length of cable is spot on really, long enough so there’s no snagging but not too long so there’s loads of cable excess. Most importantly there has been no leaking whatsoever, really happy with that! If I had to criticise them at all I’d say that the jack plug would be better being one of those right angled ones as it protrudes quite far to one side and I feared that it flapping around may eventually lead to deterioration at the connector so I’ve anchored it to the goggles strap with a cable tie to limit potential wear and tear. Other than that a brilliant pair of headphones!

Wrap earphones round ears
Difficulty to keep in when swimming the option to do is to wrap round your ears but very good sound and worth the price

Good sound quality but only lasted 4 months
Was pleased with sound quality of these and they seemed like a good quality product. They come with lots of different sized silicone ear tips in two different shapes so you should be able to find some that fit correctly. Because they don't fit flush to your ear I found that my swim cap presses on them and moves them out of place. They then sound muffled or completely muted. . If I get them in the sweet spot they stay in place and I have great sound throughout my swim. If not I'm forever having to stop and fiddle with them which is annoying. I use them twice, sometimes 3 times a week. After 4 months the sound in the right ear bud became so distorted they are now unusable. There seem to be several reviews saying they don't last so I won't be buying another pair.

Excellent fitting punchy little ear buds recommended
Not usually given to writing a reviews, however, I'm so pleased with these headphones that I thought I should allay any concerns of people looking for waterproof headphones and interested in these. Firstly the earbuds come with every possible rubber earpiece you can imagine so if none of these fit you you must be an alien! Congratulations to H2O for doing this as it must eat into their bottom line but it makes all the difference as the fitting is so crucial with waterproof headphones. So got in the pool for a 4o minute swim (not hat) and have to say I had to turn my iPod shuffle down a bit as Im not used to such a clear and punchy sound. They stayed in for the full swim without discomfort and the short cable was a nice thought, I find that a much better solution to long cables. so all in all I am really pleased with these. I would recommend then highly so far. Time will tell how robust they are.

lasted 4 months then broke?
purchased on the 17/04/2025 and already they have begun to buzz and crackle in the left ear bud. Tested with a new set of headphones and they worked fine, so not the MP3 unit, has to be the ear piece that's at fault. These are not cheap as waterproof headphones go and I am really dissapointed with the product!

Good quality of sound but please make sure you follow ...
They work perfectly. Yes, they are a bit expensive but if you go to the swimming pool often, it is worth the money. Good quality of sound but please make sure you follow the guidelines in the short user guide as they give you good tips on how to make the headphones work on the first time with a great sound.

Haven't used them much but I think they'll be great no tangling.

Sonido perfecto.

I am quite the audiophile and own many high-end headphones like the Audeze LCDi4, JH Audio Layla custom IEM, and Sennheiser HD800 S for serious listening and the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless for gym workouts. Being that I have some sort of headphones playing music to my ears almost every waking minute, I decided I needed a good waterproof headphone for swimming laps at my local health club. I have the waterproofed iPod Shuffle and had some other waterproofed headphones but the sound quality was barely acceptable even for my drastically reduced expectations and it was constantly losing sound on one side after a few laps of swimming. So, I decided I needed a replacement and decided to give these H2O headphones a try. I figured that it couldn't possibly be worse than what I had been dealing with. Well, I have to say that these headphones definitely exceeded my expectations and this is from a bonafide audiophile who is extremely anal about sound quality. No, it does not compare to the Audeze LCDi4 in-ears or my custom-molded JH Audio IEM, but for $40 that takes the monotony out of swimming laps, it delivers excellent sound and has proven to be quite reliable. You're dealing with water and bubble noise so all audiophile sonic details will be lost anyway. You just want a good solid fundamental sound with a decent soundstage and that is what these headphones deliver. I primarily listen to classical music and having Chopin's Nocturnes or Brahms' piano concertos playing in my ears while swimming can be quite a blissful experience and it actually encourages me to swim longer and with more energy. I now swim 30~40 minutes non-stop while listening to music when I used to quit after 15~20 minutes due to the sheer tedium of swimming laps. So, yes, in effect, these headphones are actually making me healthier and I'm sure it'll do the same for many others. Highly recommended.
