Angelus Paint Walk On Red Restorer 2 Oz

This is fabulous paint. I painted it on the worn parts of my Louboutins and then rubbed with a tissue for it to blend in. I gave the shoes two coats and then put the finisher on which gave them a good shine. Matched the colour perfectly.

Love this product. I applied to a medium cost pair of shoes and they transformed into a very expensive looking pair. I wore them for 14 hours on several surfaces, gravel, stone, concrete and tiles, and there was slight rubbing on the ball of my foot only, but not a problem because you use so little to cover the sole, there is plenty left to do a re-touch. Application is simple, I put masking tape around the suede of the shoes and it took no more than 10 minutes to do each shoe. The paint is thick enough to not drip or run and the trick is to apply less than you think you need and add later to ensure there is no overspill onto the fabric of the shoe. I would recommend. UPDATE APRIL '22 - have worn several times and the paint has not worn off. To answer a question, the paint is for hard soled shoes. I would still recommend this product.

This Angelus Walk On Red paint restorer is fantastic. It restored the vibrant red color on my sneakers/heels quickly and evenly, making them look almost new again. The 2 oz size is easy to handle, and the paint goes on smoothly without streaking. It dries nicely and feels durable, even with regular wear. Perfect for anyone looking to refresh their red leather shoes or sneakers — I’m very happy with the results.

Does what it says on the tin.. it’s red and it’s paint. Only down side is don’t expect a glossy finish.. you’ll need a finisher to achieve a glossy finish

Wanted to fancy up the (rubber soled) shoes I'll be wearing for my Daughters wedding. Googled it and every recommendation was for this Angelus Paint. Never having done this before, I just followed the instructions. There were obvious questions - i bought the smallest bottle, would that be enough? Especially as it recommended numerous thin coats. So, I've included some photos. One of the shoes drying following the 6th (and final) coat - but before I apply the Angelus finisher (I'm giving the shoes 24 hours to set thoroughly) each coat was left for a minimum of 20 minutes between recoating. I used frog tape around the sole edge on one and free handed the other. The freehand one was easier and neater. I found that using a wide flat art brush meant I could go right to the edge of the sole and no further. Using the tape meant that paint ran inside the tape and some settled on the side of the sole which later needed removing by rubbing lightly with a solvent soaked cotton pad. The brush was easily cleaned in dish soap and warm water. I've also included a photo of the paint pot with the lid off after the job to demonstrate how much I used in total after all the coats - probably not even ⅛ of the bottle. I'm happy with this paint and the result.

My review, arrived next day, packed securely so no leaks now I’ve seen many comments saying dramatically it’s not the exact same red as their louboutin’s, however in my experience I’ve not noticed this I found it to be a slightly lighter red colour but not much I’d say about 1% difference but just remember no one is going to be looking at the sole of our shoes like if they do that means they need to get on their hands and knees with a magnifying glass To fully see the differences also take into consideration that the heel bend doesn’t get scratched so it’s only the sole on the ground let’s be honest we buy these so people can see the redness and to know we like expensive shoes, to prep you need to sand then smooth removing any excess dust off wipe with a damp cloth then dry, I used 3 coats add the first coat thinly and trust me a little goes a long way then go for the second on the 3rd coating I did give it a slightly thicker coating only to make sure as my heels were really bad once they dried I did also buy from the same seller their acrylic600 (white) finisher now don’t worry this doesn’t change them to white it’s a shine coating just incase someone really wants to look there, they were shiny without the white coat but seeing as my Louboutin’s are expensive I just wanted to to make sure they get the top treatment, I have photos too but I didn’t get all photos of the damaged ones (shame) but over all yes this product is really good, and will be buying more as we all know how delicate CL soles are,

I thought the point of this was to paint it onto the soles of your footwear. You know, the things you wear on your feet and then WALK ON. But I painted it, WALKED ON it, and then when I sat down and checked the soles it had mostly come off. I think for a product literally intended to be walked on it should have the one job of being able to sustain being walked on. Waste of a tenner tbh

Matches my loubs perfectly. Great quality and lasts for a long time without needed touch ups.

Super bonne couleur pour louboutin

The color is PERFECT!! It's perfect to replace the pain on your red bottoms if you wear it off. So easy to paint in and the dries very fast. No smell to this paint and since it dries so fast it's not sticky. It's very thin and you can LIGHTLY dip your brush in and you can cover your whole shoe!
