JETech Case for iPad Pro 12.9" 2nd/1st Gen (2017/2015), Black

This case is excellent. I ordered it for my hubby’s 2015 iPad Pro and it’s a perfect fit. He had the original apple case ( which they no longer make) and it had completely fallen apart. This was the closest one I could find to the original and other than the fact that the front sleeve isn’t removable it’s a pretty good match. The cut out sections are all in the right place and the back shell fits snugly. It’s very easy to fit your iPad into position. This case fits the 2015 and 2017 models only so be careful before you order or it won’t fit your model. The front sleeve is foldable so you can create a leaning shelf which keeps your iPad stable. It also has a wake/sleep function. The colour is an exact match to the original apple case so looks good. Price wise it feels decent value for money. I’d definitely recommend this case for anyone with an older iPad Pro. It offers good protection and looks smart.

I have used Jetech before with my ipad cases as I like their designs and feel they provide well made products. With this case I was not let down and after nearly a year of use it is still working perfectly. ======= How does it work ======= The iPad slots onto the bottom compartment which is made from a strong,solid, matte silicon, it is tight fitting and does not increase the size of the iPad too much. I have had no problems accessing any of the buttons and installation was easy. The cover for the front is attached by a hinge (you don't need to click it in place or add it), this is a material hinge with no working parts but it is a solid one none the less. This folds over the front of your iPad and shuts via a magnet ensuring that it will not open accidentally, this magnet also acts as a locking device so by closing the lid you will lock your iPad - it will also work vice versa and wake your iPad when you open it. The front is split into three parts which allow you to use it as a stand. It can be used as a more vertical stand you can use to watch films or tv shows, the angle is good but you will not be able to adjust it. You can fold it the other way so it is flatter and better for leaning on if you are drawing on it - I use this one quite frequently. ======= Stylus? ======= For those who want somewhere to keep their stylus stored away in the case, sadly this case does not come with that option; but it would be a welcome addition in the future. ======= Conclusion ======= This is a great case and after heavy use for nearly a year it is still working great, the magnet is still holding strong and none of the joints have showed any wear or tear. For this price you can't argue with its functionality too much even though a stylus holder would have sealed the deal. I would recommend this to anyone.

Received iPad pro case within 2 days of ordering. Very prompt delivery by Amazon. First impression of the case: > Material used is quite nice to the touch, rubbery matt outer surface with inner fiber material for lid/cover. > iPad pro fits snugly into the case and is held securely. > Magnetic sleep/wake works perfectly and strong enough to allow iPad pro to stand up without falling. > Folded lid gives a nice 15% angle for typing and overall usage of iPad. > Cut outs for buttons, audio jack, mic holes, lightning port in correct place however cut outs for the speakers are slightly covered on top edge. (Have tested playing music and videos with and without the case and there's no discernible volume decrease.) > Lid closes properly and magnet holds it in place. After using iPad without a case for several weeks, with the added weight of the case, the iPad does feel heavier to use with one hand. However naturally using the device on lap or a desk, this is not so much of a problem and is a sacrifice I can live with. Overall very nice case for the price paid. Only real criticism I can give it is the speaker cut outs. See images. Will see how long the case lasts.

I have had so much trouble allocating these covers but found them on the Amazon site. Great quality and perfect fit.

Fits my iPad Pro perfectly! Turns on when you open the case extremely pleased with it! Feels sturdy folds very well and holds the iPad up perfectly! Pleased with the colour matches my smaller iPad very happy!

iPad pro case in black. Price: Awesome product for such a low price point. Fit: It fits the device perfectly and protects the device as expected. Heft: The item is light and slim so it does not add a lot of weight or bulk. Look: it does take away from the beautiful look of your iPad, however, this cannot really be avoided unless there is a clear version which I cannot imagine with these materials. Feel: it feels nice in your hands with enough grip so as not to slip. I am assuming it's made of some forms of plastic, however, it does lot feel hard or rough as some other cases do. Design: the triangular role of the front cover forming a stand is not my favourite design for a case, I do prefer a the back leg style where I can creat the angle with a hinge tyoe leg, although, it seems this is now the design type of choice and the one I see most often. And it does the job of holding the iPad when in landscape mode and on a even surface. JETech: I have a few JETech items now and they are fast becoming a go to company for me. Based on the other items of theirs that I have I now have a lot of faith in knowing the item will be of good quality and at a very good price. Overall: excellent item for the price. It does exactly what I was hoping it would do.

I bought this case to replace an old damaged one. I love the quality and feel of the case however it does NOT allow me to connect my iPad Pro keyboard. I have to remove the case leaving my iPad exposed which defeats the object of having it. With my old case I could simply sit the iPad into the apple keyboard but the sides of this case are too wide and don't allow room enough which is frustrating as it states it fits my iPad... Unfortunately I've had this case a few weeks and used it so cannot return it.. Will now have to buy something else. Dissapointing as I have always loved and used JETech products!

Quite to the satisfactory. The cover is rigid by that I mean it is going to protect the device quite well. The front foldable cover doing its purpose and when opening it wakes the device and when close it sleeps the device auto. The side buttons and camera are all well aligned with the holes being provided. Let me be very clear the cover is for 2nd Generation 2017 ipad pro. I am saying this because I tried the 2018 cover version which does not work. Yes it is value to the money, although it would be great if reduced a bit more. It looks great and the back side is a bit blacky and transclucent. Fits perfect yes, and as I have already described above it is compatible quite well. Ya the last one - magnet strength, as suggested by Amazon review Ideas, yes there is magnet strength and it is ok but could make it a bit more stronger. Last I would like to put a suggestion i.e. please consider to put a hole for holding the 1st gen Apple pencil. not the 2nd Gen but the 1st gen pencil since this ipad Pro works only with the first Gen. If that be included it will be an all round perfect cover. Thanks for reading this honest review.
