Lodge Seasoned Cast Iron Muffin Pan - 6 Impressions (Set of 2)

Love these!! True to the quality of the Lodge brand, they come already seasoned and are very sturdy. Clean up very well and adds that "cast iron crisp" to muffins.

My first batch of muffins with these pans came out perfect in terms of baking, but stuck like crazy despite oiling each cup with ghee right before puting in the batter. That said, clean up is easy if it sticks; just soak them for about 15 minutes filled with water, then after removing stuck material with a regular scrubby sponge or spoon, take a stainless scrubbie and whisk out the rest. I don't use soap, even though Lodge says you can. Needless to say, I've now seasoned them myself in the oven and hopefully the 2nd batch will not stick. I have a lot of cast iron so I'm used to it normally taking some time for the seasoning to build up

These are great and the only way to bake. If you are making any type of muffins, buy this item! Very easy clean-up.

Love these cast iron muffins pans!!!!! I will never go back to the non stick muffin pans with the paper cups. These cast iron pans are the best! Have made eggs bites and muffins in these and everything has come out great. I will say after the very first time I used them the recipe did stick a little but I just seasoned the pans again and haven’t had that happen at all. They are super easy to clean. They are very heavy, as expected with cast iron so it’s great they are 6 packs otherwise it would be a lot of weight to maneuver around the kitchen, especially when they are hot. Would definitely recommend!

They make great egg muffins.

I ordered two of these because my nonstick ones were looking pretty shabby. They exceeded my expectations. I made a batch of banana nut muffins for my first attempt. I put nonstick spray and added a little flour to the bottom. They came out brown on the edges and nothing stuck to the sides. I used a damp rag and dried them thoroughly after use. They were very easy to clean. I’m used to making 2 dozen at a time, but only ordered enough for a dozed just in case they didn’t work out. I will definitely get 2 more. I was going to take a picture with the dozen but the hubby snatched the one on the plate before I could get them all on the cooling rack.

These work well for baking without cupcake liners. Just be sure to season these well. I just line them with oil before baking, and they slide right out after they cool. The heat distribution is even, and the pans are a great value for the money. They are also the standard cupcake size, which isn’t true of antique cast iron. The weight is not too heavy, which I’m sure is why they only did 6 cups per piece instead of a dozen, which would make it pretty hefty. This is high quality, along with all the other modern Lodge cast iron I’ve purchased. I would not hesitate to grab Lodge ever after trying these. I gave one to my daughter, and I have the other one. Now I’ll need another set to round us both out.

Good gift for someone that tolerates heavy bakeware.
