Mirafit Olympic 2" Trap Bar

Quality piece of equipment and perfect for a home gym! Feels well made and perfect for the job. Can't believe the price and speed of delivery! At the time of writing this it looks like I've bought the last one so well chuffed

The trapbar loox very well made on first inspection. The welds are very smooth and the grip parts of the bar are comfortable with the knurling. I didn't realise for some reason that the bar comes with spring clips which is handy. I thought they were an extra purchase so very good on that point. There are 2 plastic caps on the ends of the trapbar to protect it during storage. They come off easily so I presume they aren't supposed to be on whilst you train. If they do stay on they'd make putting the spring clips on awkward anyway. I like the weight of the bar too. It's advertised at 27kg so yuve got a good starting weight to begin with.

Over all very impressed wit this bar. Excellent value for money, well made & very strong. Was a bit apprehensive if it would be too restrictive and clash with my legs when deadlifting as I'm 6'2 by some of the other reviews but no need to have worried. It is a heavy bar so you will need to reduce your weights for the first while to get used to it. If your looking for a hex bar look no further.

Perfect shrug and perfect for my height of 5 foot 1. If you are taller than this you will need to buy the bigger bar as would not have enough leg room inside the bar. As you would just end up knocking your knees against the frame. If you are buying check you have enough room around you do a deadlift. I use mine at home. Keep in mind the bar itself is very heavy without even adding on any discs. When I first used it I thought I had made a mistake as I found it too heavy. But now I have got use to it and now have added a pair of 5kg disc. If you are using this at home definitely get the rubber discs,because you don't want to damage your floor.

Bought mine just over a month ago. The 2" bar ends are not as perfectly machined as the ones I've seen in gyms but then it's not the most expensive shrug bar. Arrived in good time. I use this in my garage along with a free standing dip station, i bought two 25kg olympic discs to go with it and only today done 5 sets of 10 reps. In the month I've used it, i feel stronger and my neck and upper back are coming along nicely. I can feel it in my thighs and glutes too but it mainly hits my core and upper body. Looking forward to adding more weight and playing with the sets and reps to build a strong body. Very happy.

I have patella tendinitis etc, this bar has let me increase my squat and deadlift numbers while not causing further pain and damage. I love the trap bar deadlift, it's the best compound legs movement. The handles allowing lanky S.O.B's like me to comfortably use are well placed, gnurling is sharp and the bar is as solid as a tank. I am 6'6" and I could use a slightly wider gap but that's not inhibited my use if it at all. Very very happy.

Very good piece of equipment. Seems very well made. Does what it ought. Now it's up to me.
