Hot (paint) stripper
It stripped the stubborn ancient multiple layers of gloss from my staircase, and it made the job easy!!! Don’t waste your time with fluids gels and foams, defintiely don’t break your back (and lungs) sanding away at layers of paint. Buy this extremely well priced heat gun and melt away your troubles instead. Cannot recommend enough, saved my lungs, my spine and my sanity all with one cheap tool!

Great addition to tool box
Absolutely excellent. Has made real light work of stripping the years of paint of my banister. Only critique is would be better if it had some different types of attachments. To get into the nooks and crannies. Overall very impressive.

Good heat gun
It does the job. 2 heat settings. Simple tactile switch. Like a hair dryer but hotter. No attachments provided in the box.

Great value
This really did the job and was worth the money in comparison to others on the market. Managed to strip my entire staircase easily. The only issue I had which was a factor was the gun emits a lot of smoke/odour which didn't stop no matter how many times I switched it off and on again. This meant it took me longer to do the job as the smoke could be quite overwhelming and stayed in the air for hours. So really important to use this in well ventilated area. Unfortunately I'm in no hurry to use this again but it did make stripping the stairs much easier than using paint stripper and scraper.

Brilliant
Purchased this based on the very good price and decent reviews and its brilliant - simple and functional, the selector switch is super easy to use and the heat is pretty much instant, have had no issues at all so far and have used it plenty of times - very handy tool to have

Nifty heat gun for those little projects around you pad
Another Amazon speedy delivery . A very reasonable priced item . Black and Decker are a trusted brand , and this is Good quality for the price and ideal for all those little jobs around the house . I used this just to assist some tarmac touch up laying , filling a few cracks etc . Great job by Amazon - delivered in the blink of an eye . If only everything in broken Britain worked as efficiently as the GO TO supplier .
