It's NOT a pillow! Just to point out to those complaining about this being too hard - it's not designed to be a big soft fluffy wedge shaped pillow! Regard it as a wedge shaped extension to your mattress and you won't go far wrong. It has to be firm so that it will support your body in an elevated position. (If it were a big soft fluffy pillow you'd just sink through it back onto your mattress). Yes, you will need to use pillows when lying on it (because it's an extension to your mattress) - this isn't a fault with the product, it's the way it's designed to achieve its purpose. It's not particularly comfortable to drop off to sleep on, but I don't use it when initially going to sleep. I suffer from gerd and as soon as I begin to taste that acid at the back of my throat, I lie on this and the symptoms go away and I eventually drop off without a problem. (This saves me from having to get up and go downstairs and sit in an armchair.) Wake up an hour or so later and take it off and everything's fine for the rest of the night. Difficult to sleep on it on your side as well. Depending how far up you sleep on it, you may end up with your feet stick over the end of your bed (which may be a problem is if you don't have an open end), but you could always cut it a bit shorter if you need to. Five stars simply because it relieves the reflux!!

This is the first foam wedge that I have purchased and while on first opening it was larger than I had anticipated it is certainly extremely lightweight. When measured up it is slightly narrower than my pillow and fits nicely on my side of our king-size double bed. I tried it for the first time last night and used a relatively squashy pillow at the thick end of the wedge to support my head and neck. I was surprised by just how comfortable this arrangement was; the wedge is firm enough to offer support, yet pliable enough to give comfort. I had a really good night’s sleep and have only a little stiffness in my upper back this morning, which I think is to be expected with a new pillow arrangement. Not only did I not experience any episodes of reflux during the night I also woke up hungry, which rarely happens, so am now wondering whether sleeping in a raised position also improved the speed of my digestion. I agree with a previous reviewer in that differently-coloured cover options would be nice, as the blue doesn’t work with my bedroom décor, though I do appreciate that this is meant to be a physical aid rather than a decorative accessory. Ideally this would be used as a mattress tilter, however when I tried that it caused so much of a slant on my husband’s side of the bed that he was likely to end up on the floor! The foam wedge was also really comfortable to use sitting up. All in all I would say that this is an excellent product at an extraordinarily good price. I can see why this is a Best Seller and can highly recommend.

LOVE this for raising my legs in bed (great for swollen ankles after a long flight), but did NOT like it for my head (which I bought it for, to help with sleep apnoea) as far too hard (and I like hard mattresses). I used it on top of the mattress, with a pillow on top of the wedge. Could not try it under the mattress as it was to use one one side in a double bed. If you have shoulder impingement, be aware that it made mine hurt worse, even when I propped my arms up on pillows. My 12yo gets blocked noses and borrows the wedge, it lets him get some sleep. I tried it for the same and I got some rest but not sleep - it relieved the blocked nose somewhat but caused a lot of pain in my back and neck because it is too hard. Under my legs, however, I like it so much that I often use it even when I don't have swollen ankles. I can sleep on my side and on my back and be really comfortable. Others have said it smells bad - it does! I had to leave it by an open window, regularly rotating, for 3 full days and nights before I could bring it into my room. Manufacturing smell? Well packaged in a big sturdy box.

I was worried about how many different types of wedges there are out there & had to do a fair amount of checking reviews & doing my homework before settling on this one. I'm so glad I did. People have mentioned that they are very firm, this is because they're designed to be put under the mattress. I bought 2 as we have a kingsize bed. I placed them at the head end to raise the bed head as I suffer with acid reflux & propping myself with pillows wasn't really working as well as it could as I was finding I slumped & ended up in a position that actually made the reflux worse. With our bed being kingsize 2 of them still don't completely cover the entire width, however I placed them in slightly from the edge and with a small space (approx 4 inches) between them and this seems to work well. We have a memory foam mattress and it shapes to the wedges well with no noticeable ridge or fold. I'm already feeling more rested as I'm waking less to re-adjust pillows and my reflux is already seeming less. It could be just down to sleeping better & not slouching but either way any improvement is great.

Really comfortable and so pleased with this. I took a long time to choose a wedge pillow (for reflux) and read several reviews of many types. In the end I went for this due to it's reasonable price, removable cover and fact that it's sold through Amazon. I needn't of worried - I've not found it "rock hard" or in any way uncomfortable as some reviewers have stated. In fact although I don't need it every night it's so comfortable that I sometimes prefer to use it even when I've not eaten later than the recommended minimum 3 hours. Also it has no offensive smell and being sensitive to smells I was concerned with some reviews of wedges which mentioned strong smells. It's also a great size - not too wide, or narrow for me and the right height for a comfortable night. I just hope that when the time comes to replace it with a new one (hopefully several years down the line) it will still be widely available. Update - after using it for a week or so started to develop backache. Thought it was linked - particularly when sleeping on my side as wedge pillows can cause a misalignment of the spine in this position. Since then only used it for the nights where I haven't left sufficient time after eating before going to bed so only once or twice a week and backache is better.

It's way too big and too hard to be practical as a pillow but is handy to lean against when sat up, wouldn't buy it again though thwe cover is nice and cottony and I bought the spare covers to put on my other smaller wedge pillows as they'd only had white flimsy material covers.

Does what it is supposed to and raises you up in bed. I needed it at home post surgery as I couldn't lay flat. As others have said it is not soft at all but the first couple of nights I didn't really care. It's ok if you use a soft pillow on top and better for back sleepers. But I'm a side sleeper and it's just not comfortable enough. But it did what I needed it to and was cheaper than most other wedge supports.

Con questo prodotto, per poter guardare la televisione mia madre non ha bisogno di altro supporto se non di un solo cuscino che le tiene la testa un po' più alta. Consigliatissimo! Unica pecca è il prezzo costoso di una seconda federa, in caso si volesse il ricambio, (acquisto che non abbiamo fatto). Buona giornata :-)

Dafür, dass dieses Keilkissen aus Schaumstoff ist, ist es sehr stabil. Bei Schaumstoff erwartet man im allgemeinen, dass er nachgiebt, dies ist hier nicht der Fall. Für die tolle Qualität, ist das Kissen ziemlich günstig. Wer auch immer gedenkt sich einen solchen Keil anzuschaffen, ist mit diesem Produkt gut bedient.

Rigida, cómoda, perfecta para convalecencia. Se soporta bien en cama y sofá, no se "escurre". Pena que no traiga una funda de repuesto, pero ya sería pedir demasiado. Con el sudor tampoco coge mucho color.
